I received a collection bill from this company for a bill I never received in the mail, by email, or had been phoned about. I paid it because I value my credit active, but I still have not received an actual bill from them.

Mrs. was sent statements of her balance due, however, those statements were returned to sender as we did not have her current address on file at the time. Mrs. paid the collection balance timely and therefore it was not reported to her credit report. If there is anything further we can do for Mrs. Horswill, please have her contact me directly. Date of service was 6-12-2019, billing sent to my insurance....Great!! my insurance paid, leaving a balance of 313.33. Radiology Assoc. of Appleton sent me a bill for 313.33. I called them saying you need to submit to my secondary Insurance.....I have called them over 5 times with them telling me they will submit to Insurance..... They have never submited this claim to my secondary Insurance. I received a letter from Americollect a request for payment in full for 313.33......I called this collection agency and told them I will not pay this bill until Radiology Associates of Appleton sends it to my secondary Insurance..... This was on 3-12-2020....so I called Radiology Associates Again and they stated they would take it out of collections and submit to my insurance....so far since I've been writing everything down I have talked to a Vanessa twice a Theresa once a Nasha twice...my secondary insurance has talked to a Derek and a ***.....Collections called today 4/14/2020 I called Radiology Associates of Appleton Again!!!!! I talked to a Nasha and she said she would put me through to a supervisor which she transferred me to take a survey which ended my call. During all this my husband contacted his Insurance (my secondary Insurance) they called Radiology Associates and they ended her call!! She called them back and they told her they submitted it to insurance while they were on the phone. Can you blame me if I don't believe her?!? So now because Radiology Associates of Appleton billing can not do there job I will get bad credit!?!? This has been going on since 6-12-2019 I am not paying a bill until I see what my Insurance will pay!!

Two years in a row they have not submitted billing to insurance as they said they would after numerous phone calls. Was told on 3/6/2019 if I did not receive another bill in 30 days to disregard the billing. Now a year later they have turned it over to a collection agency after I was on the phone with them on 3/20/2020 regarding issues with mine and my husband's billing for the same preventative procedure this year!

I have made 3 attempts to get the MRI bill to be resubmitted to my 2nd insurance carrier. The Hospital had both insurance carriers on record but the billing continued to be sent with the incorrect amount demanded with threat of collection. I called on Friday Jan 31st which was my 2nd attempt to get them to correct the balance due. This is after my first call a month or so earlier which did not fix the problem. I called the billing dept head on Friday Feb 7th 2020 at 11:47am to again try to get the bill corrected to no avail. that number is 920 739 5642.
Their google review has 11 one star reviews all saying the same thing I am. Not one review other then a one star complaint.
I also advised my Doctor to never send me their for a MRI again.

To whom it may concern,

I have had the account for this patient reviewed based on the complaint received. We are a hospital based radiology practice and receive our patients' insurance information from the facilities where the patients have their radiology services performed. We provide only the professional radiology service to those facilities with the facility collecting the patient's demographic information including insurance coverage at the time of service and providing the technical radiology service which they bill directly. The information that was sent to our billing office from the facility contained only primary insurance coverage information. We billed that insurance for the patient's professional radiology services and sent a bill to the patient for the remainder. Based on the notes on the account, the patient contacted our billing office on 12-3-19 regarding the bill he received. He stated at the time that he would call back with his secondary insurance information to be billed. The patient contacted our billing office again on 1-28-20 and provided his secondary insurance information and the balance was billed to the secondary insurance provided. Unfortunately, a final notice for the left over balance had gone out that same day, 1-28-20, before the balance was rebilled. Mr. did leave me a VM on 2-7-20 stating only his name and phone number for a call back. I was out of the office at that time and had a follow up task to give him a call back but did not know at the time that it was regarding a billing complaint. He left me another VM late 2-11-20. I called him today, 2-12-20 and left a message for him to contact me directly to discuss his grievances and resolve any outstanding issues he may have with our practice.

My secondary insurance is with Forward Health ID # ***. Each time I called the billing department I asked them to rebill my secondary insurance. When I registered at Encircle to have my MRI they took down both insurance carrier ID numbers. THERE IS NO REASON FOR YOU TO NOT BILL FORWARD HEALTH. It is your job to get this matter corrected, not mine. I am the one with cancer, you are the one with 11 one star reviews saying you cant bill anyone correctly. DO YOUR JOB!

When the secondary insurance processes the claim and lets us know what portion of the balance will be your responsibility, we will mail a statement with that balance. My husband went for an x-ray on 5/8/19 . They sent the bill to *** and it was declined. I had to call to resubmit to our health insurance because we weren't on ***. I was sent a second bill, which I pd immediately in July. That same day I pd the bill 7/1 I received the EOB from insurance company which had the correct amount I owed. I called 7/2 and their billing said once the they received the check they would refund the difference. I have called since on 7/8, 9/12, 10/10, 11/13, 11/22, 12/3/19 asking for my refund of $68 and have yet to receive it. I asked to speak to a manager twice and never was called back. I went to clinic and was told by receptionist that they have problems also with this billing company and you have to keep calling. I just want my refund.

I have had repeated problems with Radiology associates of Appleton sending bills directly to collections instead of ever sending me a bill.
This has happened multiple times now and I’ve asked to speak to managers about it previously. I only find out about bills through collections. I never receive them by mail or any messages left on my phone. This has left derogatory marks on my credit score which are not my fault. They are the direct result of the billing problems that many face with this office.

I have had our billing department review the account for the patient that made the Revdex.com complaint. We do show that she had a small delinquent balance that we had sent to our collection agency, Americollect. Americollect confirmed that there is a small balance outstanding and also confirmed that they have NOT reported that delinquent balance to the credit bureau. Americollect further confirmed that they have delinquent accounts listed for the patient for other clients other than Radiology Associates of Appleton. There is a possiblity that the credit bureau information referenced in teh complaint is regarding a different account that the patient is delinquent on that was reported to her credit bureau. Let me know if I can be off additional assistance. Thank you.

The letter is correct. I was not aware that there are two separate Radiology associates of Appleton. Radiology associates of the Fox Valley in Appleton is the ones who have not been sending me the statements. I have followed up with Anericollect to find out what was going on. The complaint should be through Radiology of Fox Valley instead.

We have also had issues with Radiology Associates of Appleton billing, where it is impossible to pay our bill online, customer service can not assist over the phone because of "system updates" and bills are immediately sent to collections. All attempts to pay our bills are met with dysfunction, hurdles and hoops to jump through and immediate referral to collections.

I broke my arm several months ago in a work related accident. I received immediate medical care and workers compensation benefits. I started receiving bills in the mail from Radiology Associates of Appleton, despite the fact that they had my workers compensation claim number and all the necessary information. My workers compensation case manager even verified this with them. Then yet another bill arrives so I call them and they don't even have my workers compensation insurance information on file! I give them the information once again. Sure enough, weeks later they start leaving me messages on my phone and send another statement.
A co-worker of mine suffered a work injury not long after me, and he also required x-rays. Like me, he was also fully covered by workers compensation. Months later a woman calls him and very aggressively informs him that they are sending him to collections despite the fact that they gave him ZERO notice! He never got a single statement or phone call from them! And sure enough, now his credit has been dinged due to this companies incompetence.
Our HR department has now gotten involved, and still Radiology Associates claims no wrong doing on their part. They also claim to have sent my co-worker numerous notices and claim they have never called me at all, which I have the voicemails to prove this is a flat out lie! And also, they were given the proper workers compensation insurance information MULTIPLE times, so why are they harassing us and sending us to collections?
Apparently Radiology Associates has either never heard of, or cares about the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. If their incompetent billing department had done their job right in the first place, there would be no need for all the nonsense going on now. It's amazing that no one has taken legal action against them yet. You can't harass people like this! How would these people feel if it was them who was hurt on the job and now someone is hassling them for a debt that they are not responsible for? Get your act together!

Twice I have had problems with this business.They had my insurance information but never turned it iñto my insurance. They claimed they sent me three statements, which I never received! The first time I new about the bill was when I received a bill from a collection agency! The other time this happened was à few years ago.They obviously have not solved their billing issues. Blaming the mail is not going to solve their billing issues!

Review: Billed $213.00 for services on 10/28/14 which I paid in full. On 2/9/15 I called at 1:45pm spkoke with [redacted] who said the insurane was not subitted she would send tothe insurance and once paid by insurance I would get a refund. A notice was received from the wrong insurance carrier denying for no coverage so I called back on 2/26/15 spoke with [redacted] who submitted to the correct insurance company and was told toallow 6 to 8 weeks from payment for refund. Payment was made to radiology associates on march 9 by my insurance compny. I called 5/11/15 and was told they would initiate a refund to allow 6 to 8 weeks for the refund. This bill was to be paid within 30 days but I caanot get a timely refund fjor thr over payment. They have been paid twice for the same service.Desired Settlement: I also want an explanation on why I have go thru extremes to get a refund which I am entitled to
