Our goal is to provide customer sen ice that exceeds our customers' expectationsUnfortunately, it appears that numerous factors impacted the processing of Ms[redacted] refund In recent months we have transitioned to a new practice management system and some of our internal processes have not transitioned smoothlyThis compounded by the fact that when Aetna reprocessed Ms [redacted] claim and sent $89.37, the check was received without an explanation of benefits so we were unable to identify which patient it was for The check was located in february and posted to Ms [redacted] account, and a refund was requested the same day however an internal process failed and the refund check was not issued to until April 30thOur refund process normally takes 6~weeks once the overpayment is identifiedThis one took about ten weeks from the time the Aetna check was locatedWe are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused Please contact me at [redacted] extension [redacted] if we can assist you any further Regards, [redacted] ***

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I find the response to be untruthful, appalling, and an insult Aetna mailed the check to them in November of Aetna is a large corporation, and I find it hard to believe that they did not send with any pertinent information I also worked for Aetna as well as in a clinic business office, and know this is not the case I believe they posted to the wrong account and are covering themselves Also, I called in January about this issue You mean to tell me that their is no notice section of checks that cannot be identified? Lori could not find anything, and that is when Aetna faxed a copy of the CASHED check So, they cashed it but did not know who it belonged to? Give me a break Somehow the "refund" was lost numerous times which I find to be scary I and Aetna had to call numerous times to receive this refund From my many years of customer service experience, I keep my own notes on the issue Also, I asked to rush my refund, and both Lori and Wendy told me it would take business days, not six to eight weeks So, maybe they should get their facts and stories straight It was on my last call that I finally stated that I was going to pursue this by filing criminal charges and filing complaints It was miraculously at this time that they decided to send me my refund; when I filed this complaint They have horrible customer service and I think other consumers need to know about it this has been going on since November of And, I finally received the check on May 1st They should not get off this easy with all of the crap going on November and May 1st I will say it again, if I did not send them a payment in a timely fashion, I would be in collections They do not send a refund in six months--what do they get? I did not pick this group by any means I did not have a choice; the choice was made by my healthcare provider Regards, [redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I find the response to be untruthful, appalling, and an insult.  Aetna mailed the check to them in November of 2013.  Aetna is a large corporation, and I find it hard to believe that they did not send with any pertinent information.  I also worked for Aetna as well as in a clinic business office, and know this is not the case.  I believe they posted to the wrong account and are covering themselves.
Also, I called in January about this issue.  You mean to tell me that their is no notice section of checks that cannot be identified?  Lori could not find anything, and that is when Aetna faxed a copy of the CASHED check.  So, they cashed it but did not know who it belonged to?  Give me a break.
Somehow the "refund" was lost numerous times which I find to be scary.  I and Aetna had to call numerous times to receive this refund.  From my many years of customer service experience, I keep my own notes on the issue.  Also, I asked to rush my refund, and both Lori and Wendy told me it would take 10 business days, not six to eight weeks.  So, maybe they should get their facts and stories straight.
It was on my last call that I finally stated that I was going to pursue this by filing criminal charges and filing complaints.  It was miraculously at this time that they decided to send me my refund; when I filed this complaint.
They have horrible customer service and I think other consumers need to know about it.  this has been going on since November of 2013.  And, I finally received the check on May 1st.   They should  not get off this easy with all of the crap going on November 2013 and May 1st.  I will say it again, if I did not send them a payment in a timely fashion, I would be in collections.  They do not send a refund in six months--what do they get?
I did not pick this group by any means.  I did not have  a choice; the choice was made by my healthcare provider.

Our goal is to provide customer sen ice that exceeds our customers' expectations. Unfortunately, it appears that numerous factors impacted the processing of Ms.[redacted] refund.

In recent months we have transitioned to a new practice management system and some...

of our internal processes have not transitioned smoothly. This compounded by the fact that
when Aetna reprocessed Ms. [redacted] claim and sent $89.37, the check was received without an explanation of benefits so we were unable to identify which patient it was for.
The check was located in february and posted to Ms. [redacted] account, and a refund was requested the same day however an internal process failed and the refund check was
not issued to until April 30th. Our normal refund process normally takes 6~8 weeks once the overpayment is identified. This one took about ten weeks from the time the Aetna
check was located. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Please contact me at [redacted] extension [redacted] if we can assist you any further.
