I have been to this hotel many times over the course of a few years for my job and have had many issues each time. I've experienced anything from rude workers as well as fraudulent charges to my personal card when I was told it would just be used for incidentals and despite there being on file information to bill the corporate card (account) that my company had with them. The shuttle service is never available and under staffed. I have had maintenance issues from not being to close the bathroom door to the phone not working or being fixed despite having told them the problem the first day I got there and everyday after that. There are probably things I forgot to mention since the list goes on. Every stay there has been the worst hotel experience I've ever had. If my work did not make me use them for trips to Madison I would never have gone back.

Review: My family and I had planned to stay at the hotel for winter break and spring break, but because of all the snow we have had, we needed to cxl to be safe. The policy is so absurd, 72 hours after making the reservation instead of before the date of the reservation. When we called a day shy of 72 hours and explained the snow, they could care less. The MOD was so rude and the least empathetic to us! So because of the treatment I felt it best to cxl both reservations and was charged $50! They charged my card without authorization.Desired Settlement: We would like to have our $50 returned to us.

Review: Thursday, 8/15/2013, I called and spoke to a rep at Coco Key Water Resort with the intention of setting up a birthday party celebration at their location. I gave the rep my information and she emailed me a contract that had to be completed along with a photocopy of my credit card, which I didn't feel comfortable doing, and a signed credit card authorization form. I was given until 8/18/2013 to complete and sign the contract, if not it stated my birthday party space referred to on the contract will be released and neither party will have any further obligation under this agreement. I did not sign the contract and I contacted Coco Key Water Resort on Sunday, 8/18/2013 to spoke with someone and the call was not answered so I left a voicemail message with my name and phone number expressing I was no longer interested in booking a birthday party at their location. My call was never returned. I was never clearly told that I will be charged $100 dollars regardless if I signed the contract or not.Desired Settlement: I would like the $100 dollars refunded back to my credit card or have credit for admission for another date.

Review: Horrible Heat! Horrible Cable poor Signal!, Excellent Company Excuse! Priceless! Each room has its own thermostat but the heat didnt work, the thermostat was placed on 90 and we waited for an hour before complaining, an engineer was dispatched to our room at 11:30 pm room [redacted] and a space heater was provided. The cable signal wasn't working for the television and another engineer was dispatched to our room [redacted] and the tv could not be fixed. The engineer advised management, while I was on the phone complaining to guess service [redacted]. [redacted] advised the full heat in the building cannot be turned on in the building unless the temp outside is below 40 degrees so space heaters are provided also full heat turned on in the building will cause other guest to be uncomfortable and the owner is upgrading the heating system soon. We stayed at the Hotel Friday November 22, 2013 and checked out Saturday November 23, 2013 as a part of the [redacted] inside Water Park Package. [redacted] offered 4 free tickets to the water park for our discomfort. I advised [redacted] our issue is with the Hotel Accommodations not the Water Park. There was another guest I spoke with that had the same problems with their heat and the room next to ours had problems with bed bugs and no heat. I advised the hotel I will probably visit the park again but will not stay at the hotel and I will complain.Desired Settlement: mandate the hotel to correct the heating issue in the building, upgrade the heating system ASAP! Upgrade the televisions to accomodate the proper cable signal, The rooms on the 1st level is provided to guest as a hotel water park package. The heating system is horrible and if the rooms are in poor condition refund the customers money. The total package for us was $239.00
