Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: This business does a telephonic assessment of household good shipmentDespite my spouse advising the assessor what was contained within each room, the number of rooms, square footage of the home (sq ft), and the number of boxes (approximately 200) the assessor provided a low bid to gain the workHowever, upon arrival, they show up with a small truck, hours late, and then begin loading the boxes that were in the garage without even going into the home to get a visual of what contents were within the homeOnly after I told the lead, "aren't you going to see what is in the house before you load so you know how to best fit the contents?" Did he actually go inThen he springs the new cost, almost double than the quoted cost (the quoted cost is what won them our businesss)This business knew exactly what they were doing: they under bid to get the work, show up late, double the cost, knowing good and well the customer is on a schedule and between a rock and a hard place The lead then begins negotiating the cost attempting to make the customer feel he is getting a deal and hide behind the contract This is unscrupulous practiceIndeed, we opted not to continue to "take advantage" of having another truck come out and then experience the same thing? No Thanks! Then near the end of the move, site lead attempts to bring down furniture from the second floor single handedly without the help of the other two crew members ((who were actually good workers), and apparently lets the furniture fall down the steps destroying the furniture He should have separated the bottom piece from the lower piece The company then charges me $because we have a grandfather clock, but then failed to pack the clock works The Revdex.com should note the number of customers who experience this practice of a low bid and on the scheduled day of pick-up, receive a revised quote that is no where near the quoted cost Post a warning on this business based on its practice and if an assessor doesn't physically come to the home, don't use this business A reputable business wouldn't do this Regards, [redacted]

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I have voicemail from Radius moving asking me to remove a review in order to receive a partial refund all damages and missing items were noted at time of drop off I did not sign at pick up nor did I approve additional charges these charges were charged in full to the credit card they had on file without permission of the card holder since posting my review I have been contacted by many other customers stating they have had similar experiences my items were exactly as described I do not own any large furniture everything I own was exactly as described more than chairs were left behind and every item delivered was damaged I was told the delay was due to an accident and that I was not immediately contacted due to them needing to making arrangements for a new truck as well as insure all workers were safe There has been one story after another and I have been treated horribly I would like the refund promised as well as proof of space and weight of my belongings that were actually moved they have repeatedly told me they could not find the paperwork as well as stating I would receive refund as well as money back for my trouble again this is stated in a saved voicemail from one of their customer service representatives I also have multiple emails from other customers that I could provide as proof that this company often treats customers poorly loses items and over chargesthank you for your help in this matter Regards, [redacted]

Yes Donovan did talk to me the other day but heHe told me that it was because I put in this complaint with the RevDex.com that he was not going to consider giving me back any of my deposit if you record all your calls as your calls say you do then pull up the recording and real listen because I actually repeated it back to him just to clarify what he was saying because I could not believe that he was actually saying it I was even willing to take half of the deposit back since you guys did send the truck out there but he wasn't even to discuss that option. I am rejecting this response because:What they stated is not true I have the original agreement where I told them everything that was needed to be picked up I also have the emails from Tom the salesman where he answered yes to my question of getting a full truck and what I mean by a full truck is the complete 26-foot truck I also asked him if my stuff would be placed on a single truck and would be delivered on that same truck he told me yes when they got there they were in a rented Penske truck and told me that my stuff would be taken back to their warehouse and placed on a semi truck this is not what I agreed to so therefore was one of the reasons why I canceled when they were there to pick it up I finally did get through to Donovan yesterday and he is supposed to call me back today by noon I never agreed to paying it an additional amount for extra space because I made it very clear to Tom that I needed the complete full size foot truck I gave him a complete and accurate account of my inventoryWhen they called me on the 29th I spoke with Linda and there were some confusion so she transferred me to Tom who again assured me that I was paying for the full 26-foot truck and not just a portion of that truckThis company does not practice good customer service because Michelle the owner basically told me it wasn't her problem and if they wasn't going to give me a refund of my deposit why would Tom tell me that him or Donovan would call me back to discuss the arrangements of returning my deposit they have done this to several other customers in which I can get names and provide them if necessary

*** had additional items and the piwould have been well after 8pmWe called *** *** was called and we explained the situation for the safety of our crew and *** *** we did change her move date to the morning of June26, with her permission On the day of her move our foreman did an initial walk through with the customer and notice that *** *** items were larger than the standard size itemsAlso, during this walk through our foreman notice that *** *** items were damaged and noted the damaged items on the initial inventory list the both our foreman and *** *** signed at the time of pick up The move cost increase was due to *** *** furniture being oversized, *** *** was given a Revised Estimate prior to her move being started*** *** decided to leave some items behind to help decrease the cost of the move*** *** signed the New Visual Binding Estimate and approved of the new move cost and gave the foreman permission to start the move. *** *** states that she was forced to purchase new furniture this was at her choosing as she decided to leave some items behind Regarding any missing items *** *** signed the inventory sheets at the time of delivery stating all items were delivered and that she had no damages to her items outside of the original damages noted by the foreman at the time of pickup When *** *** did contact our office regarding the missing chairs she was informed that she will need to file a claim with the claims department directly to be compensated at the basic valuation coverage rate of $per pound per article s she chose to forego purchasing full value coverage*** *** was provided our claims department information, she can still fil a claim with our claims company Anthem Claims they can be reached at *** or *** they will assist *** *** in filing a claim on her two chairs *** *** was never offered a refund of any monies as the terms and conditions of the contract clearly state she will need to file a claim for any compensation *** *** does not want to follow the terms and conditions of the contract by filing a claim for her two chairs*** *** is also trying to get Radius Moving and Storage to compensate her for damaged items she wanted relocatedThe damage is clearly stated on the inventory sheets that she signed at the time of pickup *** *** is trying to ruin Radius’ good reputation by making claims and accusationsAgain, *** *** is able to still file a claim for her two chairs and we will make sure the claim is processed as per the terms and conditions of the contract

window of the 30th or the 31st*** *** has a large move and requires a full tractor trailer to load his items, on Saturday *** *** assigned trailer was delayed in returning from a trip to *** *** *** was informed that we would need to come on Sunday July 30th and pack his items and the trailer would come to his home and load the items on Monday July which is still in his reserved moving dates*** *** declined to have our truck come on Monday July even though he was reserved with a two (2) day open window*** *** decided to cancel his move and no longer communicate with the company. *** *** was unwilling to work with our dispatch team who tried to work with him in resolving the issue by offering one day packing and one day loading to make sure that the crew would be able to start loading right away on Monday morning*** *** had a two day open window and refused Radius Moving the opportunity to perform his moveHowever,as a company courtesy *** *** will be refunded his deposit even though he canceled his move on the day of pick up and refused Radius to actually complete the move in the allotted timeAs per company policy *** *** should not be refunded. I am rejecting this response because:I am unsure how to respond to the business of whom I filed a complaint. They were not truthful in their response. Here is my response: Tom T*** told us that we could adjust the articles list at any time on the phone when we received the contract. He assured us that there would be plenty of space to cover our bedroom house. We were very clear with him on the phone that we did not finish packing our boxes and had no idea how many boxes we would have. Also, the language of the articles list at first glance was confusing. For example, we told him we had a double bed, a twin bed, and a toddler bed. He did not include the mattresses for these items. It wasn't until further review of the list that we noticed this discrepancy. Of course if we have a bed we will have mattresses to go with them. We also clearly described our sewing machine of which he listed as portable. We told him we had a glider rocker with a foot rest, and he did not list the foot rest. These are just a few of the discrepanciesAll of these items add up and when we contacted him multiple times to make sure the list was current and accurate, he responded saying he would update the list and then get back to us (see separate email documentation). He never responded to my phone or email messages. We were never given a new estimate and could only assume based on our initial conversation with Tom that the estimate would continue to be the same. We were all packed and ready to move on July 19th, but we needed to reschedule everything and delay our move due to a faulty estimate provided by Radius Moving

The reason for the price increase is due to the additional space that was taken up on the truckYou were informed by the foreman (Justin) that the items would take up the entire space on the truck plusHe then gave you a new quote for the entire truck and you than agreed to the price prior to them
loading the items on the truckOnce the truck was completely full Justine informed you that an additional truck would be needed for the additional items and also informed you that the cost would be additional for the space taken up on the next truck. The rental of a truck for your remaining belongings is because you opted to only take what was already loaded on the truckUnfortunately we will not refund you the amount that it cost you to rent a truck due to the fact that you only wanted to take the items that was on the truck and you did not want to pay the additional cost for the remaining itemsThe inventory on site has more items than what was given to our sales rep over the phoneThe contract that you signed says that if you take up more space than what was estimated the customer is responsible for the additional costPlease let us know if you have additional questionsI hope we were able to address your concerns, thank you

I was never given the refund I also never signed for further charges to the card on file I was told the refund would be sent to me in the form of a check due to my inconvenience I was also told I would receive proof of how much space and weight my items were using on the truck I was told this multiple times and I never received these documents I was told Michelle herself was checking that the truck was loaded properly when speaking to junior I was told that radius did not have any documentation of the space used when speaking to the driver I was told the truck was a mess and other deliveries were mixed in with mine making it impossible for them to see how much space my items took up but all agreed it was not what I was charged for I posted the review when the refund wasn't given and documentation wasn't provided to me I did not sign for further charges to the card and if there is documentation showing I did that would be fraudulent The issue of refund and bad customer service is seperate from the issue of damages to my property The truth is multiple customers have had similar problems and radius bullies them into not reporting the issues I have multiple statements and emails sent to me by very upset customers I gain nothing by sharing my experience with others and don't wish to bad mouth any company I only want the refund which is owed to me and for this company to no longer do this to people moving long distance is stressful enough but to lose half your belongings and be over charged in the process then treated poorly and given the run around is just not acceptable The owner of the credit card did not give permission for the charge the policy was half at pick up half at drop off they charged the card in full at pick up and added an additional $which I would like refunded to the card plus the additional $they are claiming to have given but didn't

Whitney Trompeter hired Radius Moving to relocate her items from CT to AZ in June 2017. The pick-up was scheduled with a 6 day open window. The move could take place anywhere from June 25, 2017- June 30, 2017. The customer had full knowledge of the open window as she electronically signed the...

estimate which clearly shows the pick up window. [redacted] was not forced or required to make a cash or postal money order at the time of pick-up. The signed estimate clearly states she can pay by cash, credit card, money order or personal check. The foreman was only informing her she had to make the payment at delivery via cash or post office money order only as per the terms and conditions of the contract. [redacted] was never informed that her delivery would take place in 7 days of her first available date of delivery. The delivery window is  1- 21 business days for the delivery to take place from the first available date of delivery. [redacted] was aware of the delivery window as it is in the terms and conditions of the contract. [redacted] was offered a discount of $300.00 as a company courtesy only , Radius did not admit to any wrong doing as were still well within the delivery window. [redacted] was sent a standard settlement form required for all discounts. She chose not to sign the settlement form and refused to accept the discount. [redacted]’s complaint is not valid as Radius has followed all of the terms and conditions of the contract and has even offer a discount to try and satisfy the customer to no avail. We have included a copy of the electronically signed estimate which clearly states the open window and a copy of the contract which states the delivery window for all deliveries.
