Rafael Tovar was contracted by my general contractor to install a roof on new construction. The roof leaked during the construction process, but I was assured the roofer fixed the problem. About 1 year later, I noticed the ceiling was showing signs of water damage, so the roofer came out, verified that there is a leak, and initially told me it was due to debris collecting in the valley. He did admit that the amount of debris was minimal, but that was the probably cause, so he cleaned it out. A few days later, with the next heavy storm the roof leaked once again. This time he wanted to run a water test. After flooding my back yard with the excessive amount of water he ran over the roof from my garden hose, and not making any discoveries as to the source, he decided to come back in a few days, remove some tiles, and inspect the roof.(which was a recommendation from a fellow roofer he brought along for assistance) At that time, he noticed a cut in the flashing around one of the vent pipes. Not only did my roof leak for 1 year, he ran my water bill to over $100 due to his laziness, and then refused to help offset any of the charges, stating, he didn't use that much water. My bill also includes sewer based on the amount of water used. I told him that as well. I called the owner- [redacted], and the answering service was very polite. They informed me that Mr [redacted] himself would call, but, instead, I received a call from the roofer who installed it. He left a message for me to call back. Nothing about helping defray the costs. I never returned his call, since he insisted he was not going to reimburse me for the high water bill since he "didn't use that much water." I was expecting a call from the owner- Mr [redacted]. Lesson learned- I will never again allow any one to run a water test, unless they agree to pay that months water bill- in advance! I would not recommend this roofing company!

Raphael Tovar roofing company repaired my failing 3-year old TPO roof and completed the job on February 17th 2015. They replaced skylights and fixed TPO around the scuppers and around the new skylights. They also repaired the parapit walls and sealed vents.
The repair job was a 4-day job and it was more costly than the original TPO roof application. I wanted a warrenty and support for yearly inspections. Mr. [redacted] provided the warranty.

On March 13th a golf ball hit my skylight and broke through both domes. I called Mr [redacted] and he came to replace them with a better quality skylight within 48 hours. He apologized and took care of the work personally.

I am extremely satisfied with the work, and Mr [redacted] himself because of his dedication to quality work.
