I apologize for the frustrations we have caused Reading your statement, looking over the repair order and speaking to the team involved with the repair, this is clearly a communication issueWhether the “rotors” were replaced a year ago is not relevant, the shaking issue stems from “warped rotors”, which need to be replaced to address the concern When warped rotors are replaced you need to replace pads at the same time I think it is important to note that we also replaced a bolt that was found to be stripped, assuming it was from whoever performed the prior work Because communication did not flow properly, Konner, your advisor, offered more than a 10% discount which equated to $220.00; this gesture truly was not meant to insult. That said, I trust this clarifies the service performed and we will double the discount and refund another $Regards [redacted] Service/Parts DirectorCo’s Auto Group

Review: On July 4, 2014 my family and I visited Raging Waters of Sacramento. We arrive at approximately 2:45pm and were evacuated at approximately 4pm. Before we were evacuated, our family realized just how shut down, over crowded, and dangerous the park seemed to be and were ready to request a refund based on the derelict practices we witnessed. During the evacuation, it became even more apparent that there was no evacuation protocols and people were merely being ushered out of the park with no firm direction on what to do. I made sure to ask a park worker about a refund and they told me to leave my information with group sales. I left my phone number, my partner [redacted]'s phone number and my friend [redacted]'s phone number with an associate named [redacted]. Neither of us was called.I phoned customer service, very upset, requesting a refund based of the above listed items and they basically said that I would not receive a refund and I was welcome to come back. If I chose not to, that was my decision. I firmly requested to speak to a manager and was refused. Upon insisting, I was hung up on. I attempted to call back numerous times And was either put on hold for lengthy periods of time or the phone was simply not answered. I feel the practices we were subjected to are fraudulent and the raging waters facility is in violation of my right to fair consumer practices. In this respect I am respectfully requesting the full refund amount of $167.96. Thank you.Desired Settlement: The full amount of $167.96.

Response:

I, [redacted], contacted [redacted] Post via telephone on July 13, 2014. I left my phone number and email for her to contact me. She contacted me via email on July 23 and I did not receive any voicemail message any time prior to that. This is my response to her situation: “First and foremost, I want to apologize about your experience at the park on the day of your visit. We definitely did not foresee having to evacuate the park that day with the fire behind the levee. I understand you are requesting a full refund amount of $167.96. I am most certainly happy to give that to you. I looked your name up in our online system to see if you had purchased tickets through our website, but no luck on my end. If you purchased your tickets at the park, the only way I am to do a refund is something showing you made this purchase. Thank you and hope to hear from you soon.” She responded to me saying she did have her receipt to prove that she did indeed come to the park on July 4th. I forwarded her receipt and driver’s license to our corporate office to process the refund. At this point, [redacted] was issued a refund from our corporate office and the case has been resolved.

Consumer

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. The refund was received in full and the company complied satisfactorily with my request.

I also appreciate the expedient nature of the Revdex.com and thank you very much for your assistance.

Review: I took 3 kids with me to ride water slides on July 3rd. After purchasing our tickets (31.99 each) we went to get started having a good time at the park. Unfortunately half of the rides were closed. The rides that were open had huge lines because there were so few to choose from. In all the kids and I were able to ride 5 rides. The wave pool was open so we went to swim and immediately got back out because the water was filthy. I would have made other plans had I known the slides would have been closed. I feel ripped off by raging waters, Sacramento.Desired Settlement: I would like my money back to take my kids to a place where we can actually get what we pay for.

Business

Response:

On July 3rd, 2014, we did have an issue with our Shark Attack Slide Tower and we made the decision to post the ride as down on our attractions sign outside the ticket booths before the park opened. We were not able to open the ride due to a mechanical issue. This is the first time we have heard from Amanda Duncan and would have accommodated her if she had contacted us at the time. We will be happy to refund her money if she has a receipt of her purchase from July 3rd, 2014.
