Rago Brothers Shoe Repair

ok I DONT know how to rate this .. I have a Tori Burch purse that needed the handles replaced . Tori Burch recommendEd RAGO brothers .. I paid for my repair and waited a month to get it back .. it came in today with leather handles instead of the original nylon type handles.. I thought I was sending it to a place that could restore it to the original look .. I could have just used some place in my area for that .. so I can’t rate it high .. this is not my Tori Burch bag anymore 😞

Review: On 5/31 I took my shoes to be re-heeled by Rago Brothers with some additional work around the heel. After I picked up the shoes I noticed that both heels had cracked from the sole to the bottom of the heel. I took the shoes back on 6/7. Apparently the problem was that the sole was hollow. Most good quality shoes have hollow heels. The shoes have been re-heeled before without the heel cracking. Then they asked that I pay $10 to so that they could cover up the cracks with wax. They were not going to replace the heel because the shoes were not worth it. Then they were going to give me back my money so that I could have someone else repair the more expensive problem that they created. The cracks were not a problem I could wear the shoes if there were issues take back the shoes they would repair them. I had already taken them back. I left the shoes with them and they were going to call be back to let me know what they were going to do. A text message was sent saying that they had reinforced the heels and I was now better off. I guess they are claiming that a reinforced cracked heel is superior to one that is not cracked. On 6/9/2014 they claimed that they did not think they cracked the heels but only took the shoes because I allegedly caused a scene. It was one of the proprietors that was causing a scene with all the excuses.Desired Settlement: Replace heels with equivalent quality

Review: Item was mailed to the business for repair, not everything given to them was returned. Called several times about missing piece it has been weeks and they haven't called back.Desired Settlement: We simply want what was given to them returned in its entirety.

Review: I sent a purse for them to repair. They called me and told me what it would cost. I authorized the repair. When I got the purse back it was ruined! They had cut the material of the purse and glued it back!! It looks terrible. I contacted them and even sent the purse back to them so they could see what had been done. They did not attempt to fix the purse (I don't think it can be fixed) and will not refund my money or any part of it. I would like a refund. Their only answer to me was the purse was not authentic but was a knockoff! I bought it as authentic but that really has nothing to do with their shoddy work!! I loved that purse and have not been able to use it since. I have waited for a refund but they aren't going to do anything.Desired Settlement: Refund in full!
