On July 12, 2013, I paid Ches (owner) a deposit of ($1,325) for him to build me a *** *** replica husk with finish on it The build was originally supposed to take year to finishDuring the time of the build, I paid Ches an additional ($465), on November 13th 2013, for hardware for the *** *** husk I also sent him a ($280.54) piece of quilted maple to be used on the guitar's top This brought my total investment with Ches up to ($2,070.54)After waiting years (August 2015) and hearing numerous excuses, Ches had still not finished the guitar and claimed the maple top I provided him was not quality and was not usable He further instructed me that he could either send me the guitar as it was, which was a kit (not assembled or finished), or I could get a refund for my total investment, but it would have to be in payments and he was uncertain as to how fast he could pay me backTrying to give Ches the benefit of the doubt, I opted for him to send me the guitar in its current state Needless to say, what I received was rough at best The routes were not correct and the wood had defects in it I also never received the hardware I purchased for the kit On August 16th, 2016, the day I received his kit, I called Ches to notify him that what he sent me was not up to par Ches said he would gladly accept the kit back and refund me my investment in paymentsThis is where my experience went from bad to horrible Ches was very unresponsive and was not issuing refunds as he promised I posted my experience on The Gear Page and My *** *** forums It was only then that Ches begun to refund back my moneyIn short, the last payment I received from Ches took place June 6th, for $ He still owes me ($1,020.54) I've made numerous attempts to reach him via his cellular phone, email, text message, and through his Facebook account He has been unresponsiveI would like for him to step up and make good on his word of refunding back the remaining ($1,020.54) I have full written documentation of our interactions, as well as, receipts for my purchases and partial refunds
