I am rejecting this response because: [redacted] did not come out to my home for the 1st inspectionHis staff did and indicated that the company would come back out to re-inspect any concerns we had If this is something his company doesn't offer, not my problemThis is what your staff indicated to usYou keep saying when you came out to do the re-inspectionAll I want is your findings during that reinpsection You spoke to my son and provided him with information and I have only simply asked what you found If you pride on your customer service you could at least provide this for us Your response " The client has chosen to not abide by my findings and then is assuming that I need to reinspect the same issues which I am not willing to do." You came back out a 2nd time and knew already the problemsThe original inspection report did not say anything about cracks in the walls and the door having issuesThis became an issue afterwards The same issues were there....we did not have cracks/door issue this is why we asked for you to come out If you are standing behind that you do not come out for anything other than to reinspect work performed, than why did you? You never asked about work being done You knew why you were coming outPlease just provide me your findingsWhy are we seeing cracks in the master bedroom walls, why did the master bath door stop closing

She still is not getting it. I do not reinspect something unless it was fixed. The client hires a contractor (my original recommendation), the contractor does the work, and then I come back out and make sure that the work was done correctly. When I call out an issue, there is no need to come back and re-call out the same issue if the client has not done their due diligence in abiding by my instruction to have a "contractor further evaluate" my finding. The client has chosen to not abide by my findings and then is assuming that I need to reinspect the same issues which I am not willing to do. When I came out the second time it was to verify what I already knew: The same issues were there and they did not hire a contractor to assess the findings I came up with and make any necessary repairs

I went out and reinspected house and verbally told client what issues were in regards to their questions. They were not home when I did the reinspection. A Home Inspection is only to inspect, and refer contractors to specific issues that were seen during a "visual inspection" which is
what I did for client. I recommended that they seek further evaluation of the issues I called out during inspection by licensed contractor. I am not allowed to do any work or assess costs of doing work on any house I inspect for up to one year, which I also let client know, so I am at a loss as to why they are complaining in regards to my inspection. The issues that were called out needed to be addressed by a licensed contractor, not me. According to *** *** *** ** *** *** we only do a visual inspection and that is all. I did everything I was supposed to do and then some by coming out a second time to reinspect the issues they asked about. I believe the homeowner is also a contractor and knows exactly what the issues were that I addressed in my report. If you have any further questions please feel free to either call or email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can. Take care and have a great week,One thing I forgot to mention. I read at "settlement request" at bottom of email that client wanted me to provide "Assurance to know my home does not have any foundation issues". That is not the responsibility of a Home Inspector and we are not even qualified to make that assurance. Only a CaLicensed Contractor can make that assurance after they do their own inspection and give a cost estimate for any needed repairs. Item states that there is a need for further evaluation of support beams in crawlspace by a licensed contractor which client never initiated. I am not responsible for them not following through on my recommendations and I feel as if they want me to do the repairs on issues that I called out during inspection that they did not follow up on with a contractorIt is also important to note that the inspection is not perpetual and issues can come up with a home over time that we are not responsible for, especially if client never followed through with our recommendations. With regards,*** *** - Frye Home Inspections

I am rejecting this response because:***, It is kind of funny that it takes going to the Revdex.com to get a response from you. I have been attempting to get in touch with you via your emails, voicemail and even sent a letter to your address which is VacantBut you seemed to answer my realtors call and tell her you would call meSince October I have only asked for you to verbally or in writing tell "me" not my yr old son that was there during the re-inspectionYour employee in *** informed us that you stand behind your work and will come out to re-inspect anything that we needed. Cracks and our door shifting became apparent after we bought the home so we wanted to find out if this was a foundation issue or notWe are not wanting you to do any work only to provide us what was evaluated during the inspectionIf we need to go back on the prior owner we can. Being that you can't do any work for up to a year is this why we are not receiving any communication, waiting for the yr to pass for us to actually know what is happeningI understand you do visual inspection, is there no way to let us know if the cracks or the door shifting is caused by the foundation? And no my husband is not a contractor, since we have never spoken, I do not know how you would know what he does for a living. You mention that he knows from your reportYou never provided a report, that is what I have been asking forThe initial report came from your employee in *** and that did not indicate any of our concerns at this time. And I have tried to contact you for further questionsTwo weeks ago you informed my realtor *** that you would call meYou never did, never responded to my email that next morning. I do not want any calls from you, only in writing to provide us what your findings were for the "re-inspection"And by the way how can it be advertised that you do contracting work after a year when the CSLB isn't updated with your license? I look forwarding in receiving your re-inspection report that is indicated you provided to us. You have my email!!

I am rejecting this response because:[redacted] did not come out to my home for the 1st inspection. His staff did and indicated that the company would come back out to re-inspect any concerns we had.  If this is something his company doesn't offer, not my problem. This is what your staff indicated to us. You keep saying when you came out to do the re-inspection.. All I want is your findings during that reinpsection.  You spoke to my son and provided him with information and I have only simply asked what you found.  If you pride on your customer service you could at least provide this for us.  Your response " The client has chosen to not abide by my findings and then is assuming that I need to reinspect the same issues which I am not willing to do." Why are we seeing cracks in the master bedroom walls, why did the master bath door stop closing.
