ID# *** 7/10/2017To whom it may concern,We were hired to replace a roof at *** *** *** *** **on 10/7/The homeowner was selling the home and the inspector found Hail DamageWe replaced the roof on 10/17/the insurance work was to replace roof onlyWe did not replace or repair
the guttersWe received a call from the new home owner sometime at the end of Jan., It was a bad winter, a lot of snowWe had to wait until the snow melted to see what was going on with the roofOur repairman went out 2/11/Checked the roof and did a repairThought everything was taken care ofWe then received another call a few months laterWent back out again removed shingles and redid the flashingMonths went by and never heard anythingWe assumed it was taken care ofMonths would go by then we would get another callWe have never ignored ***’s callsBut if we do not know that it was still leaking , we cannot do anything.The last call I received he said his ceiling in the hall cupboard had fallen downAnd he was very frustrated with usHe called his insurance companyAnd said he didn’t want us to come back outA few days later he called and said his insurance company told him to let us fix itI sent our repair man out againA few days go by another callHe wanted it tarpedSo we went out again & tarped it.As too, the problem with his gutters, we did not replace or repair them, that was not in the scope of work we didWe are not trying to Ignore his problemIt is very frustrating to all of us.I am sympathetic to *** and his wifeI assure you it will be taken care off.We Stand Behind our Work!Thank You Pam R***

To Whom it may concern,I have been in contact with [redacted], Our guys went and tore off all shingles and redid the area that was leaking. I wanted to wait a few days to make sure that the area was dry, before we repaired the inside.I spoke to [redacted] this morning, my interior man is calling him today. Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.I would like to begin by stating that Rain Remodeling has been in contact and has made attempts to repair the leak(s) since the start of this complaint and also stated that once this is taken care of they will have their interior contractor come in to fix any damage caused by the leak. However, there are a number of issues with their response and the outstanding issue that the roof is still not repaired and therefore the interior is still not repaired.The calls they have listed appear to just be the calls that were made to the office in Pittsburgh and/or the calls that were routed to the answering service, not the local number/office that was setup after the hail storm or the calls I made directly to the phone number I was provided for Cliff R[redacted].The gutters were not part of the contracted work for the hail damage roof, but the gutters were damaged while the roof was being replaced. (This was confirmed by their roofer when he was out to assess what needed to be fixed on 7/1/17 who stated that the gutters get bent and can be pulled away when the tarps used to protect the siding/windows are hung over the edge of the roof and old shingles/flashing are tossed across it during the removal process.)He stated that he would return on Monday 7/3/17 at 8AM to resolve the issue. When he hadn't arrived by 12PM I called into the answering service and left a message. I was called back that same day and explained that a family emergency came up and he would be out the next day. Their roofer came out on 7/4/17 and made another attempt to repair the roof, at which point he re-secured the gutters, and patched the hole in the siding that was damaged during the roofing install. I called again on 7/7/17 in the morning as the roof was still leaking and had appeared to be getting worse and requested that if they couldn't come out that day or the next, to please come out and tarp it to avoid more damage. I received a voicemail on 7/7/17 in the afternoon stating that their roofer would be out that night around 6:00-6:30PM to tarp the roof or to make another attempt to fix it but he never arrived that night. I was going to wait until the morning to call but the roofer was there first thing on 7/8/17 to tarp the roof. He stated that they were going to need to spend an entire day on it and take off a whole section to resolve this and that they were ordered materials and that they would be out next week. I received another call from Rain on 7/10/17 confirming what their roofer had stated and that they would let me know what day they would be out that week. It is now 7/19/17 and they have not been out to repair the roof or called to let me know when they would be out again. Regards,[redacted]
