They do not get the building permit that they were suppose to get, they tell you my boss has it when in fact they never did. after roof was complete, they started working inside my house to take care of the rain damage, they hire 3 contractors to do it.
1rst. Contractor came, fix the closets, but because they (Rain Co.) was trying to go cheap on other stuff that needed to be done they left.
2nd. Contractor that they got to do the inside were the same guys that did the roof. no experience as professional to do inside job, made a mess. I found out that the they came thinking it was for something else but they told them that they have to do my house.
After job was done I complained about it. Review: Rain Remodeling signed on to have work done on my home some time in 2014. The work was suppose to be completed in spring of 2014. Rain remodelings Rep that was suppose to be coordinating the project and assuring the job was completed, up and left the state. He was going back to Rain telling them that things were done, when they were not. When I brought it to Rains attention, they didnt really have a response, but to continue to contact their rep. So I did and I also contact my insurance company, who verified that Rain has not been in contact with them, yet they were trying to close out the claim . So I was contacting Rain week after week day after day. No response until I showed up at there location and expressed my concern. The rep was suppose to have 2 guys come out and finish the project which was to replace rolled roofing but they couldnt and the rep expressed to me in a text message that he would have it done in siding and he would cover the cost oit of his pocket. That never happened. So I called Rain and expressed my concern again, they basically tried to make a deal with me by giving me the money that the insurance alotted for that specific job to close everything out. I told them no because there was no way I could get anyone to do it for that amount of money. They said well neither are we. I told them, I was not suppose to be the middle man here. Thats what the rep was for. If he left the state it was Rain and the reps responsibility to coordinate and get someone else to organize and finish the job. They basically gave me the run around. So when I refused their deal, they got alittle nasty with me and I told them that they agreed to do the work for a certain amount of money and rhey organized all this with the insurance, company. That this is not my fault. All I wanted was for them to finish the work, and all they fid was give me the run around for almost a year.Desired Settlement: Finish the work as you agreed upon and treat people like they mean something.
