Review: I purchased a 5 year extended warranty for a GE GTH21KBX refrigerator from Rainbow Appliance. 18 months after the purchase was made the freezer stopped working. I have not been able to contact anyone at Rainbow appliance although I was charged $139.95 for the 5 year extended warranty.Desired Settlement: I want the freezer repaired.

A warranty packet was delivered to customer at time of delivery of refrigerator. Customer had to have that filled out and mailed back within the 1st year of receiving his order. Why is the customer waking up now asking where to packet is

I am rejecting this response because:

WAKING UP? A registration packet was NEVER provided, although I was billed for the warranty service. All that I received at the time of delivery was a yellow invoice stating what I was being charged for. I was led to believe that the warranty would be put in place upon delivery of the item. Why would I expect that paying $139 for a service good for 5 years would suddenly disappear after 12 months? The only reason I WOKE UP regarding the warranty is because I actually needed to use it.

Furthermore, the number and website I have tried to contact this vendor on numerous times is unreachable.

Again the warranty packet was provided to customer at time of delivery. Customer had to fill out the warranty packet and send it back to the warranty provider. Since this sale was done over a year ago there is nothing we can do at this point

The contention that the warranty packet was provided to me at delivery is patently false. The only documentation I received on the day of delivery was the yellow carbon copy of the invoice. Nothing further was

recevied. Why would I not follow through on registering the warranty if I had made the conscious decision to purchase the 5 year service in the first place? Many times a reputable vendor will register the warranty

for the customer at the point of sale.

In trying to contact you previously to resolve this, I have tried several ways. First I tried to contact you via the website where I made the purchase (the website no longer exists). Secondly, I tried to call you

on the phone number provided me on the invoice provided to me at the time of delivery (that phone number has been disconnected). Lastly I tried to email you at a customer service email that I had to search through Google in order to find. That email went unanswered. Please explain to me how a reasonable customer should try to contact you for customer service, as I am clearly unaware?

There are a couple of options available for resolution of this matter:

1) refund the $139.95 for warranty services I was charged but never rendered

2) issue the extended warranty I paid for but did not receive

The choice remains yours.

The vendor is refusing to make good on services which it never provided.

Revdex.com, please advise me of the options that remain available to me inclusive of information pertinent to the use of small claims court.

Can you please also provide a name, address and additional contact information for Rainbow Appliance that I can use to file such claim in court, since they are unreachable by phone, email and website that I used at time of purchase.

Review: A Weber summit grill cover was ordered and paid for along with a Weber Summit grill. The cover was never delivered. Three emails were ignored. After the fourth email the business refused to remedy with an unreasonable excuse.Desired Settlement: Delivery of the paid for item + apology for the incovenience and the wasted time.

Customer notified us 6 month after delivery that it was missing. Based on our return policy we need to be notified of damages & missing freight within 30 days so we can file a claim with the shipping company or manufacturer. After that time we are not responsible. Customer also signed the delivery receipt as received which stated the contents of the package

Review: On July 12 2013 I purchased order [redacted] from Rainbow Appliance over the internet and via email. I was told at the time that the delivery would take 5-7 business days. When I did not hear from the company for two weeks I tried to phone them and verify status of the order, but the phone was not answered on multiple attempts. I sent several emails and received the response that my updated shipping information will be available today Wednesday July 31. I called them again and still they do not answer the phone. I have not received the information regarding my merchandise. My credit card was charged on July 12, 2013.Desired Settlement: I desire the company to answer their phone, and respond to repeated calls and emails requesting shipping information, or contact me at my email or phone to provide the needed information. I desire the company to complete the shipment of my order or if they are unwilling or unable to ship my order then IMMEDIATELY refund my purchase price in full and provide detailed explanation of what is preventing the company from completing the order as promised.

I am rejecting this response because: I have received no notice or confirmation of any shipment. The merchant has not responded to multiple requests for information. This is a large freight item.

Please provide shipment confirmation so that arrangements may be made to receive the freight, as well as to notify [redacted] and [redacted] which handled the payment, of the progress.
