Hi [redacted],Thank you for reaching out to me by phone and forwarding this correspondence to my email, as I do not actively check my P.O. Box on a regular basis. I will respond to this complaint, in bullet form, one issue at a time.  I have attached my contract and invoice together with...

my response to my clients attempt to not pay their bill, which I am certain this complaint revolves around.* The Pure Platinum Package was contracted and received* The marriage license fee is not included in my services (it has to be paid in cash by applicants on the day of application to the City Clerk) . We accompany clients to City Hall  to assist with paperwork (as a professional courtesy) and ensure the license gets filed and processed after the ceremony. However, when they expressed that they were under the impression it was included, I credited them and apologized for the misunderstanding.* There was no rehearsal scheduled (or billed).  When I offered a rehearsal the night before I was told by both ladies that all of their wedding party would not be present and that they would have their own rehearsal and provide me with a procession order (which they weren't even sure what they wanted it to be the day before)* I asked if we could change the ceremony time from 4:00 to 5:00 due to a personal issue with my officiant (he was having chest pains and needed some time for medication to take effect before driving) My clients agreed and said that would be helpful since they were all running behind.  At 5:00 my entire team was ready to roll; however, we did not have a ceremony until well after 6:00 because one of the brides was still getting make-up applied and the wedding party was not dressed (looking for dresses, shoes, jackets in each others rooms, etc)* The food was exactly what they ordered......and then some.  A chicken dish, a pasta dish and a vegetable dish. I also squeezed out salad, bread and coffee service at no extra charge.* The photographer had pictures ready within 2 weeks.  They will be released, with full rights, when their outstanding balance is paid.* An "Open Bar"  was requested and delivered.  They asked for the $14.99 per person package which consisted of "well" liquor. This was black and white specified on line.  They were fully aware of what was provided at that price as they had been consulting with the banquet manager of the venue before they secured my services.   However, again, in an effort to accommodate them, I purchased (out of pocket) 2 bottles of [redacted] and [redacted] so they could have exactly what they wanted.* The Horse & Buggy service was there promptly at 4:00 as requested and waited until 5:30 (time which I was billed for) to escort them to the ceremony.  It was extremely hot that day and the horse could not be out in the heat any longer. I made arrangements at that time to have the ride re-scheduled for the next day after they checked out. The ride was declined and I ate this cost as well.* The cake  was exactly what they ordered. 3 tier, traditional white, with rainbow theme.  I have photos of examples of what they sent and the product they received. In addition, I was able to waive the cake-cutting fee charged by the venue by cutting and serving the cake myself.I would like to add that my DJ and my photographer are paid by the hour.  Both of which I paid extra for 2.5 hours at no additional cost to my clients.  In addition, as a result of the business I do with The [redacted], the banquet room fee was waived. A savings that was passed on as a professional courtesy.  They also complained about their guest room at the inn and were upgraded to a suite at no extra charge. If this wasn't enough, at the time of check-in I noticed they were scrambling around to come up with the cash to pay for the room at which time I offered (as a favor) to put all of their charges on my credit card until they could collect the cash from their guests who were apparently helping with the cost.It is evident that I have gone above and beyond to provide these people with as many discounts and adjustments possible. The balance owed to me are hard costs and non-negotiable. As it stands I am out of pocket on this wedding but was doing all I could possibly do to make them happy and take the hit. This is clearly a bottom-feeding attempt to still me with a $2838 bill and I am not in the business to fund weddings. I have been in business for over 3 years, had over 200 weddings and this is the first time I have not received a gift or a gratuity from my clients for my services rendered.I have met with an attorney and if this issue is not resolved I will file a claim in small claims court which will cost them additional fees in court costs and legal fees. I will wait to hear back from you regarding this response.  If you have any questions and/or would like to see and additional correspondence to support my defense, please let me know.Respectfully submitted,Shanie McCowenRainbow Bells

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Regards,
Michele Blackwell
The package we chose was not the one we received and we offered to pay her the money for the hotel but we still have not seen what our 1750 went towards we didn't not request the food we received because I have acid reflux and I can't do pasta. We were never informed on the cost of anything we offered to bring our own DJ she said we couldn't. We are being charged for a open bar that no one used and was not broken down to us that we would have to pay anything. And the horse and carriage ride was not there at all because I was at the hotel outside waiting the whole time the bugy had another couple. I am attaching a copy of the package we ordered and did not receive and it clearly shows false advertisement we paid for the 1000 one and received the 750 and in her packages it clearly states all services provided by rainbow bells everything that was on her website was a fraud. We are not trying to stiff her with our bill we just didn't get what we asked for and when my wife walked down the aisle she was suppose to walk to my grandmother favorite song in which she couldn't be there so it meant a lot but the song skipped and stopped playing so that was also a disaster.
