Rainbow Chrysler Dodge Jeep(Causeway)

Review: Rainbow Chrysler Dodge and Jeep flooded my 2013 Minivan (8 months old) and will not pay diminished value. Brought Minivan in on 2/19 for a tire, was told I had to wait till 2/20, and we agreed to pick Minivan up on 2/21. When my wife picked up Minivan it was flooded with standing water. Dealership accused my wife of the damages till common sense sunk in and they accepted responsibility. My insurance company and Chrysler both agree on me receiving diminished value but Rainbow is unwilling to pay and make me whole again. Rainbow has also issued illegal and incorrect tags which my wife was pulled over by LA State Trooper and JPSO. If not for my military insurance card my wife would have gone to jail. Again the dealership is not taking responsibility nor apologizing.Desired Settlement: Make all repairs, Write letter to cover all concealed damage and repairs related to accident so it will be covered passed the 36 month/36000 warrenty, and a check for diminished value.

Review: On 11/05/2013 we entered in an installment contract which was not properly explained nor handled in a business manner. Upon reviewing the contracts, the finance person, [redacted] was asked on three occasion if we were required to put any money down on this transaction for it to be complete. His response was "with all the cash back and rebates, your getting a good deal and $10,000 off the truck price.." So, I looked at my fiance and said.. "If there is no money down then less get the truck here, go ahead and sign...." About a week later, we receive a phone call from the dealership explaining to me, that $1500.00 was required to be put down on the vehicle, after signing the papers and leaving with the truck. I informed the salesman, [redacted] that I asked 3 times, was never told of money required down. If this how this dealership does it business, enter into contracts, and then calls the customer to get money later, bad business. To save an argument, I went and brought two checks for $750.00. The dealership has not and is refusing to title/register my truck with the State of Louisiana, pending title issues. There are no title issues, everything has been taking care of. The truck is financed, I have paid two notes, Tax/title/license fees have been paid, Chrysler Capital is calling wanting to know why they haven't received the lienholding information, State Farm is asking how come the truck is not registered yet, and they are holding my tag/registration up for no reason. My temp tag expired 1/04/2014. How can a dealership run shady business like this. They are getting their down payment out of the kindness of my heart, because my sttorney advised me not to pay. I was informed that it is against the law for a dealership to hold-up registration on a vehcile in the State of Louisiana. All I want is my registration and tag so I can be legal on the streets.Desired Settlement: Register my truck immediately with the State of Louisiana and Issue my License Plate and Registrationon or before January 10, 2014. The 60 days are up from the date of sale, and I have paid all fees required. This dealership needs to be looked into. I have spoken with several other customers whom they have done the same thing to. Don't know how they get away with this. If I would have known this prior to purchase, I wouldn't have purchased a vehicle from here. Bad business ethics on their part.
