I visited Rainbow Coin Laundry on 11/15/2015. This facility is disgusting. The floors are covered in filth and look like they're never swept. Many, many machines are out of order, and not all of them have labels declaring such, which is a waste of customers' money and time. Choosing a machine feels a lot like gambling. Furthermore, in the women's bathroom, there is dried blood splattered on both walls of the stall, and no soap by the sink. I will, unfortunately, continue using Rainbow Coin Laundry because my apartment has no washer or dryer, I have no vehicle, and this is the only laundromat within a reasonable walking distance.

Review: I went to Rainbow Coin Laundry on 8/23/14 or 8/30/14 (I apologize, with the amount of time that has passed, I cannot excatly remember). I took a comforter there to be washed and dried because it would not fit in my washer and dryer at home. Upon entering, I noticed the facility was VERY dirty, including POOLS of water all over the floor, and that many, many machines were out of service. I found a large washer that did not have an out of service tag on it and that would fit my comforter and proceeded to try and wash it (I put liquid soap in the soap dispenser). The machine went through the cycles but never released the soap. I then rewashed the comforter using a different large machine that another lady just finished using. I found an out of service tag on the floor, filled it out so that I could receive a refund ($5.00), and put the other half on the machine, per the instructions, to let others know it was out of service. There is/was a locked box on the outside of what appears to be the office door. Unfortunately, the lock on the box was broke so I did not feel comfortable leaving my name, address and phone number in a location anyone could see. Instead, I slid the tag under the office door.

After awhile, I phoned [redacted]) the business because I had not recevied my refund. I left a message on the answering machine (which stated that I would receive a call back and that they also completed refunds once a month, the message also included a cell phone number to call). After not receving a call back within a day or two, I called the number back and tried the cell phone number, again, I left a message and again, I did not receive a call back. After another day or two, I called the [redacted] number a third time and let the individual know that I would now be taking action because I had not received a call back or a refund. I also purposely waited to pursue anything because the message on the machine stated they did refund once a month, so I was giving them the benfit of the doubt thinking they maybe do refunds at the end of the month.Desired Settlement: I want my refund of $5.00.
