Mrs*** *** arrived at our hotel, The Best Western, on July 13th for a three night stayShe was upset due to the fact there wasn't a microwave and refrigerator in her roomShe stated that she called the hotel directly to ensure she would have these itemsNo one at the front desk would have
told her that her room came with a microwave and refrigerator.We do not advertise that a microwave and refrigerator are in every roomOur Jacuzzi Suites and our newly remodeled upgraded rooms only have these amenitiesShe did not book either of these rooms.It is not advertising, and she was mistaken and very difficult to reason with.At her request we immediately put both in her roomHowever, she was now upset on how they were positionedThe room she reserved was a standard double queen bedded room, it does not have the space to accommodate these items.She has written a negative review on every social media out thereWe have responded to eachShe is relentless in her quest and no number of apologies will make her happyWe will not be issuing a refundYours truly Donna ** ***Assistant Manager

I am rejecting this response because I paid a $design fee for a design they couldn't provideI have been very respectful and patient in my dealings with LPEA but am extremely disappointed at the customer service I have received from them thus far.My original request to LPEA was asking them to tell me how to separate electric usage between my house and another house sharing the same wellThe original email response from Tiffany Q*** at LPEA engineering department was:Thank you for your call.To request new service for a well, please submit the following:Application with psigned and datedLoad Data SheetCopy of warranty deed for propertyNon-Refundable design fee of $300Please call with any questions you may have.I called right away to reiterate I didn't need "new service" as she called it, but just needed LPEA's expertise on how to split the electric. She assured me they use the same application for every requestI sent her everything she requested.Notice they called it a DESIGN FEE and right on the front of their application it states that upon receipt of the design fee, a staking engineer will contact you to make an appointment to meet at the site to discuss the jobAfter the meeting, the staking engineer will draw your job, compute construction costs, and contact you.In this case he went to the site and then contacted me and said he was sorry but there was nothing LPEA could do to help meHe said maybe I needed to call a Well Service company and see if they could helpThat LPEA Engineer's name was Lyn K***.LPEA has been referring to their line extension policy only since I requested a refund of my design feeI didn't even know what work would have needed to be done including a line extensionThat was my whole reason for calling themI was depending on their expertise to give me a plan how to proceed. I paid a design fee not a line extension or engineering fee. In their last response they stated their policy indicates that if I choose not to continue work, the fee would be forfeited but in this case the engineer said there was no work they could do for meBelieve me, I really needed to accomplish what I requested and would have never turned them down or ask them to stop workThey said they couldn't help me!I have copies of all email conversations I have had with LPEA as well as their application which states what the design fee was supposed to provide and am happy to provide all to the Revdex.comGayle N*** and Tiffany Q*** with LPEA are already in possession of all these documents

Please find attached LPEA's Line Extension Policy on this matter.  The compliant, being a member of LPEA, is bound by the policy.  The fee in question is a fee that is collected when the member requests work to be preformed.  In the event the member decides not to move forward with...

the work, the fee is kept to defer costs that were incurred by the specific member.  In this case the membership of LPEA incurred a cost that exceeded this fee.We have had numerous interactions with this member and it has been elevated to our Board of Directors who are our regulatory body.Thank youRonald M[redacted], PEManager of Engineering and Member Relations###-###-####
