We feel that we have been responsive to the claim for the sidingI had technicians go there in early August to see what was happening to the sidingAt the time of inspection it was area which was visible and this area was near the peak on the side of the house which requires staging or ladder jacks to fixWe do not have these items and have to rely on a subcontractor to fix the itemsI have called several and they state that when they slow down then they can get there but because it's only a small repair and not an emergency that they cannot get thereAs for the gutters I have called [redacted] gutters who did the install and have not received a call backI again have asked numerous companies to do a repair and they all have stated the job was either too small or that they were busy or again when we slow down we can do a minor repairI am not trying to wait out the year and if this is how the customer feels then they shouldn't due to the fact that the complaint was lodged and accepted by us prior to the year markWe will fix these issues but I need the assistance of subcontractors and I have explained this to the customerIf the customer can find someone to perform the necessary work quicker then please have them forward me quotes prior to the work being completed for my review and maybe this is a better fix.I will then approve the quotes and pay the invoices prior to the work being performed.Thank you-- Brian B***Rainbow International of BranfordOffice-###-###-####Cell-###-###-####Fax-###-###-#### [redacted]

This complaint is settled in an agreement between the unit owner and our company. The customer's statements as to the $10495.00 purchase price is not 100 percent accurate . This cost was paid to us directly under the initial check from the insurance company and all work in that scope was completed...

prior to this initial complaint.  There was additional work which was also completed by us which there was no payment prior to this initial complaint which consisted of additional painting, 2 new hardwood floors installed and the removal and replacement of a basement screen door. The customer and I are on the same page currently and I believe that he is satisfied with our resolution .  The project is progressing and should be completed by us this week.[redacted]-- Brian B[redacted]Rainbow International of BranfordOffice-[redacted]Cell-[redacted]Fax-[redacted]

The contract was emailed to him and this letter is the first time that I am hearing about the contract. Review: Restoration work on my condo after a fire has not been completed and the contractor does not return calls, emails or text messages. Work was stopped five weeks ago and no communication on status or completion plans have been provided. This has caused delays in the planned sale of the condo and incurred extra expense.Desired Settlement: OK

Review: To: Rainbow International BranfordOn March 24, 2015, a representative from your company by the name of [redacted](who serves as the contact person) provided me with a contract that was signed by me agreeing to demolish and renovate the interior basement. According to this contract an initial payment of $7,492.50 was needed in order to begin the process. A check was written by myself and given to [redacted] An agreement was made that demolition work would begin on Saturday, April 4, 2015. Two gentlemen from your company reported to my house on this day and completed 50% of the demo work. Paneling from interior walls was taken down as well as the ceiling panels and grid. However, more work is needed and has yet to be done. I have made numerous calls and have left numerous messages on [redacted]'s phone (###-###-####/###-###-####) and I have yet to receive a phone call indicating when the workers would return to complete the job according to said contract. I also never received a copy of the contract that I signed even though I was promised a copy that was to be sent via email from representative [redacted]. I simply am requesting a number of a few things as I am entitled to them as I am the customer.1) Copy of the contract signed by Rainbow International Branford2) A letter informing me when said work will continue and an estimate of completion timeOR3) My $7,492.50 returned to me.Desired Settlement: A check in the amount of $7,492.50 was given. Minimal demolish work was completed. I require $7,000.00 refunded to me for a lack of service.

Review: When our house was repaired, we got new gutters and siding. We were told if there was anything wrong, we had a 1-year warranty and all repair work was guaranteed, so if any of the work had problems it would be fixed.

Immediately after the gutter installation, one of the gutters began leaking, sending water to the basement in any rain other than a drizzle. The owner promised to send someone out to fix it, but failed to do so - multiple times he told us to expect someone, no one ever showed. Eventually he stopped responding to calls.

Then over the past few months the siding began buckling and bowing in at least two places - once again, he promised to send someone out to repair the siding, but every time he said to expect someone no one ever showed up, and now he has stopped responding to calls and texts. The siding is not fixed.

It appears to me as if he is simply running out the clock to avoid having to make the necessary repairs before the warranty expires.Desired Settlement: Simply to make the necessary repairs - fixing the leaky gutter, fixing the bowed siding sections, and checking to make sure no other sections are likely to have the same problem - or else pay to have someone else do it.

We feel that we have been responsive to the claim for the siding. I had 2 technicians go there in early August to see what was happening to the siding. At the time of inspection it was 1 area which was visible and this area was near the peak on the side of the house which requires staging or ladder jacks to fix. We do not have these items and have to rely on a subcontractor to fix the items. I have called several and they state that when they slow down then they can get there but because it's only a small repair and not an emergency that they cannot get there. As for the gutters I have called [redacted] gutters who did the install and have not received a call back. I am not trying to wait out the year and if this is how the customer feels then they shouldn't due to the fact that the complaint was lodged and accepted by us prior to the 1 year mark. We will fix these issues but I need the assistance of subcontractors and I have explained this to the customer. If the customer can find someone to perform the necessary work quicker then please have them forward me quotes prior to the work being completed for my review and maybe this is a better fix.I will then approve the quotes and pay the invoices prior to the work being performed.Thank you-- Brian B[redacted]Rainbow International of BranfordOffice-###-###-####Cell-###-###-####Fax-###-###-####[redacted]
