The worst mistake of my adult life was falling into the referral program with Rainbow. I'm one of those that got con into purchasing a Rainbow through the referral program. I was unable to continue with the program due the the pandemic/ covid 19. The customer service representative I dealt with was clueless and their sales reps are trained to lie to convince the customers To buy by Influencing you the consumers that you don't have to buy just join the referral program it's easy. Lie!!! These ppl don't care about you or your health all they're concerned with is that you can sell their product or charge you an extremely hire interest through Lendcare. Pls note that Lendcare doesn't not care. They only care that you pay them. Please.... I urge you don't be fooled by this Rainbow product it's the worse situation you can get into during this difficult time.

I wish to complain about the Rainbow Vacuum that I purchased on May 19, 2019 that took place in my home with your local representative Emilia T.

I am complaining because I was wrongfully disqualified from your program. Your program allows customers to receive a free Rainbow after connecting you with 12 people willing to view your demonstrations in their homes. I met the requirements as you presented in the demos. (12 demos and 2 vacuum sales) However, I was given a hard time with a bunch of lies when completing the program. You advised that one of my demos did not count because the couple did not own their home. Once I advised you that they did own the home, you changed it to 'the couple did not reside in the same home'. I don't understand why you allowed me to do a demo if you already had public knowledge that they did not reside together? You get all the information when we book the demos. When I asked you for proof of where you obtained your public records you did not provide it. Instead you ask me to invade the privacy of the couple by asking for proof of address. Then you advised that I needed 2-line sales and stated I only had one, when in fact I had 4 good sales. Your guidelines are not clear. Your intentions where never to honor your program. I know other people on your program that are having similar issues. This is a scam. To resolve this problem, I would like you to Honor my 12 demos, 4 sales, and the hard work that I put into this. Then refund me any money that I already paid into it. The other option is to do a refund and I can return the Rainbow System.
Product_Or_Service: rainbow vaccum cleaner

Desired Outcome

Refund I would like you to Honor my 12 demos, 4 sales, and the hard work that I put into this. Then refund me any money that I already paid into it. The other option is to do a refund and I can return the Rainbow System.

We have spoken to this customer and advised that even if she did not provide proof of her friends/family's address, they were given an extra 30 days to replace that demo. The customer signed that they understood the Qualifications and Guidelines of the Pot of Gold Program. No returns or refunds will be processed.

I bought a vacuum. I never received the attachments that were supposed to come with the vacuum.
I got a rainbow vacuum in 2017 from this outfit using the pot of Gold program. However, I never received the additional attachments for the vacuum that I was owned for completion of the program. I called monthly for six months after my program had been completed and every time I called they said the attachments were not in and to keep checking. I then started checking every 3 months and now it has been two years. I was in the neighborhood today so I thought I would see if I could get my attachments. I called first and no one answered on any of the extensions.(keep in mind this was a Monday during business hours) I went to the business location and was surprised to see no less than 3 employees in the building, though it would seem that none of them could be bothered to pick up the phone. I told them who I was and what I was there to pick up. They called Jonathan I the owner of the establishment and said that he said I could not have the attachments because it had been longer then six months since I bought my vacuum. I explained to them politely that I did pick up the attachments in the first six months because they did not have them available. The answer was still no to me getting the vacuum attachments that was owed. In conclusion and I say this with no animosity, No one should have dealings with Aqua Extreme or it's owner Jonathan I. These people are dishonest

Desired Outcome

I just want the attachments.

Rainbow - KATHLEEN GA Response • Aug 13, 2019

Mr & Mrs *** did visit our office on Aug 12 at which time we stated they have to claim their gifts 6 months from the date of their last demo which was 11/2017. I understand that they tried to call prior to arriving, but we had a power outage on Sat that caused an issue with our phones. As far as the gifts are concerned, we have no record of any email that was sent in to claim the last set of gifts, only the first set; and we can not prove on either end that any calls were made. According to Mrs *** "time slipped by" and they forgot. We simply can not just give out inventory after two years. We are not dishonest people.

Customer Response • Aug 18, 2019

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We reviewed our contract and could not find anything referring to a 6 month deadline concerning the pick-up of the vacuum attachments. It is important to note that the vacuum attachments were never available for us to pick up during the first six months. How can there be a deadline to pick up items that they(the business) never get in? Each time we called the business to see if out attachments were in we were told no they were not. This business has an F rating on the Revdex.com, so we should not expect much concerning an amicable resolution. I harbor no ill will towards this company, but a crook has to be called out as a crook. This company has a lot to learn about honesty and integrity. All I can do is let my family,my coworkers, and church know if they want a rainbow vacuum cleaner, never buy it from this bunch.

Pot of gold program is terrible with too many issues to list. I complained to the powers that be and the manager laughed at my face, so Revdex.com it is.
I have shed entirely too many tears over this program. I do not like feeling like I am being taken advantage of but I definitely get that feeling with this program. During the in-home demos the representatives make the program seem better than it is and are not truthful about the facts of the program. I feel like I did not have all the details needed to make a good financial decision for my family. They say the device is FREE if you take them to 12 of your friends homes and sell 2 devices. This is not the case. You are told and I quote "$2760 is what you'll get back for the cost of the machine but with the rebate you end up with x extra dollars for the wendys 4 for 4 deal to celebrate."
So I have been paying since October, autopay $112. I finished the program a month ahead of time. I have $2582.33 left to pay. I have paid $562.95 towards it and will pay more by the end of it because of the 8 week long verification process. But in reality, after paying for 7 months (2760 minus 2582= 177.67) and 562.95- the "profit" 177.77= 385.28. So after all of this I paid nearly $700 or so and more to come. So if it is not free to do the program, do not claim for it to be. That is false advertisement. Also, I never received my contract. I called the credit company to pay off the device and owed $2619 still because of nearly $70 in interest since last month. They said that I was initially charged $2948 which I have no record of being informed that this is the price because I was not given a contract. Which again goes to show you that it is not free to do the program because you do not get back the full price of the rainbow. I was lied to or at the very least the truth was stretched to convince me to buy into the program. Also they are not forthcoming about the fact that every credit company they use has an interest rate of 20% and they will pull your credit several times in order to find someone to do your loan. It is no single representative. They all do these strategies to get you to buy. I had issue after issue getting demos scheduled. I was told it would be 8 weeks to get my money back but it ended up being over 9 weeks. Women are discriminated against in the demos because you can not have demos with single parents because apparently they would "not be able to afford a device like this." When I complain I am laughed at and everyone is defensive. When I ask to speak to a higher up, the subject is changed.
There are so many issues with this program I could never list them all but I can't get anyone to pay attention to my complaints or even try to really listen to me.
The program was not worth my time and I will never recommend this to anyone. I think they make the program difficult in the hopes that you just give up on trying.

Desired Outcome

I would like to be contacted by someone other than J at the kathleen office. I would like to be contacted by someone higher up than her. I would like the rest of the money to cover the cost of this machine or let me sell it back to them or something.

Rainbow - KATHLEEN GA Response • Apr 17, 2019

We would like to start by saying first that we DID NOT laugh at this customer. There were witnesses that can attest to that. Second, this customer signed the Pot of Gold Program agreement that states "I am responsible for ALL taxes and interests..." The customer also verified with the finance company that she had and understood the contract and finance agreement. She had to make 5 or more payments because that's how long it took her to complete the program. We made multiple attempts to help this customer with what to say to get her friends/family to commit. That's the extent of what we can do at the office. Third, we DO NOT discriminate against ANYONE during the program. The rules are that they "must be couples married or living together and romantically involved..." We realize the cost of the product can be overwhelming to some and 9 times out of 10 single parents can not afford to do the program to get the money back. This customer did get what was promised when she signed the Pot of Gold Program. We have done nothing but help along the way.

The company has failed to deliver on promises, failed to respond to two formal complaints, the manager was disrespectful, and they failed to respond.
I signed up to do a free vacuum demo on Feb *** at 6pm. The demo lasted 3 hours. I purchased the vacuum for roughly $3,100 on my credit card and joined their program that states if I complete 12 demos with two purchases in 6 months that I will earn back the money spend and earn a list of free gifts as well. Their program stated if I set up demos the night of my review that I would earn a gift for each demo. I set up five and have not received any gifts. They told me non of them counted because they were not confirmed bookings and no one works the weekends. I said they paper does not say that, nor does the website. The website said you have schedule openings and your voicemail said you are open on the weekend. They told me that they are sorry that none of that is up to date, but they still can't honor their promise. The 2 days following my demo, I called 4 times and emailed 2 times, with no reply until I emailed to cancel my purchase. After that email, I immediately got a call. I was unable to answer, so he called my friend and disclosed personal information to her about my order in hopes she would change my mind. It was not his place to call anyone about my business with them. Then I get around to calling him back and he was disrespectful. He interrupted me over and over, then proceeded to tell me that if my referrals really wanted the vacuum they would drive 4 hours one way to purchase it because that's what he did when he wanted an expensive dog. I told the gentleman that I wanted to cancel and the fine print says I have 3 days (which I met the requirement) and they have 20 days to come pick it up. He told me that no one could pick it up on a Sunday, and I replied by stating they have 20 days. He raised his voice and said someone will be by later and I better answer my phone or be responsible for the vacuum. I said I will answer my phone if I can with a baby it is hard, and he told me that I will answer my phone baby or not. Today makes the 4th demo that was not completed because of the lack of customer service. I have sent multiple emails and have made multiple calls. No one seems to want to return any of my messages. They won't even address my complaints. They have not delivered on their promises and continue to fail me as a customer. Now I have relationships to mend because I set demos up for people to clear their schedules and no one calls or shows. I am not the only one they are treating this way. They should not be allowed to market to service members and their families, if they are not going to work with them. I am horrified that they want people to spend 3-4 grand on a vacuum and refer their friends and family, only to be treated this way. I have wasted time on their program and have not been awarded for my efforts like their program states. I have emails and phone records. I have also called over and over again to speak to a manager, and they don't return my calls or emails. They false advertised, failed to deliver on promises, and are ignoring customer complaints. I would like the 4 gifts that they owe me based on the lack of customer service and not providing guidance because I followed all the rules set by them and displayed on their handouts. It is not my fault they failed to complete their end. I am upset at the moment, I apologize if this is all over the place. I also have more to say. I can provide all the emails I have sent and phone records, if needed.

Desired Outcome

I would like to get the 4 gifts that I worked for. I followed everything displayed on their handout. They should not be allowed to change the qualifications to suit their agenda because they failed to provide further information or clarification.

I feel as though I was lied to and taken advantage of.
To whom it may concern, My name is ***, my husband and I purchased a rainbow vacuum on February 3rd, 2019. I was told when I purchased that I could participate in the pot of gold program and I could ultimately get my rainbow completely free. I was told that's all I had to do was 12 demonstrations and 2 people had to purchase. I decided it was worth a shot. I set up my first demonstration a week in advance at 6 p.m. as I was instructed to do. The day that I was supposed to do my demonstration came and I was contacted a couple hours before hand saying their 2 o'clock demo ran longer and they needed to push my time back an hour, I contacted the people I set my demonstration up with and was told they couldn't do it that late. I expected them to still count it as one of my 12 demonstrations but was told they could not do that. I meet *** and received my rainmate and Dyson that I was promised. After I met with her I called and spoke with my brother about my situation and he began to tell me that over the weekend he also had trouble with his demonstrations, the first one he set up no one showed up, the second demonstration he had in place they came and did the whole demonstration and decided not to purchase. The lady doing the demostration pulled my brothers girlfriend to the side and said the demo wouldn't count because it was a hoarder situation/multifamily home. Why would they wait until after the demostration was over to disclose this information? Furthermore it is not a multi family home in my opinion. I spoke with the lady about this issue also and asked her if they had brought if the demostration would have counted to which she replied yes, that's definitely a double standard. After talking to my brother I called *** Stone and informed her that I no longer wanted to keep the rainbow or participate in the program because I feel as though I was lied to. She gave me the main office phone number, I tried calling serval times on February 10th 2019, I could not get an answer so I called *** back and she informed me that I would have to call February 11th, 2019 because they are closed on Sundays so I asked to speak with her manager who was very rude and told me that must not have any good friends or family to not be able to oush the meeting back an hour among other things she said. I called today and spoke with a very nice lady who understood my frustration with the whole ordeal, unfortunately I am past my 3 day return so it looks like I am stuck with a vacuum that I no longer want. I called the main office and was told to send an email complaint so I did, I was also told to contact the finance company and I don't this also. I have been informed by both parties that I cannot get out of my contract. I called my local City Hall to make sure they had a proper business license in my area and I was informed that they do not, they still say that is not a reason to void the contract. I disagree completely. They tell you you can receive a vacuum for free if you participate on their program but they make sure you set up your demonstration a week in advance so by the time you get to your first demonstration you realize that they don't do what tell you they will you are past the 3 day return policy. Not only did they insult me and my family conned me out of $4000.00

Desired Outcome

The only thing I am seeking is for them to take back mine and my brothers vacuum. I do not want it and I would like it off my credit.

Rainbow - KATHLEEN GA Response • Mar 11, 2019

Resolution has been reached

They have scammed me into buying this vacuum cleaner in the hopes of getting it free once I said 2 and complete 12 shows. And that did not happen!!
I purchased this item in January 2018 in hopes to get it for free, once I finished my 12 demos with 2 people purchasing the vacuum cleaner. I completed the first 6 shows in 30 days, then I completed the second 6 shows within the time allot for the demos. At the end of the program I but in to received the money to pay off my vacuum cleaner, only to be told I did not meet the qualifications. No one told me that I have to make sure the people I sold to had to have good credit. Why would a company give this to people that had bad credit. I sold 6 for them and not at one show was I told or the people that purchased the items told their credit was not good. I was scammed and so are so many other people. I called to voice my concerns and *** the office manager hung up on me. She was VERY rude. This is not fair to the people they are selling these items to. I want to return this product and get this off my credit. I have asked them to come get it because it is not worth 3000$. They are refurbished and are sold for only 900$. They continue to scam people into buying this item when they are refurbish items.

Desired Outcome

I would like for them to come get this item!! And take it off my credit.

Rainbow - KATHLEEN GA Response • Aug 31, 2018

We did receive a call from Mrs *** in response to the email she received stating she did not meet the qualifications and guidelines that she signed up for. She stated she read the rules and knew she had to have 2 A-Line sales but since it was not verbally stated it was not fair. Mrs *** herself was also very rude and discourteous so yes, the call was ended. However, when she called back, we gave her an offer to get the required sales with an accommodated date due to the fact she was about to have surgery. She refused. This is not a scam and we have many customers that do complete the program and get their payoff checks. We will not take the product back because the bank owns the contract and there is only a 3 day cancellation.

Customer Response • Sep 11, 2018

Good afternoon!! I was not verbally told about the sales I made having to be good credit sales. That was not fair to me or to people of future purchases. I feel decieved. Its just not fair. And for them to sale a product you can buy from *** for 900 dollars rather than $4000. I hope they eventually get closed down!!

This business only cares about money! They are your typically greedy company. They lie to many people about their score on the Revdex.com and about the price of the Rainbow. If you finish the program you still have to pay around $500. I tried to finish the program one day before my program was up, and the rainbow people decided to take off that whole week so I had two couples Scheduled for a demo (my last two couples 11 & 12), but since they wanted to be lazy and not drive to my area they said, and I quote "sorry not our fault better luck next time". They need to be shut down becuase this has gone on long enough and they all need to go get real jobs and stop praying on the middle class and lower class; people that don't have money to spare, so people like myself do the program aka the dirty work for them; while knowing that the program is designed to fail they fail to tell people that they are aloud to not go to a demo if it's to far away. At any moment if you don't get a sale from any of your 12 people they look for anything to disqualify it. They picked the Kathleen area for one reason to pray on the military families becuase they said and I quote "we choose this area becuase it's miltary based and a lot of families come and go". How disrespectful can this company be and can people just do their research before they incounter these liars becuas they do not care about the coustmer!!!!

This is your typical Pyramid scheme. Please stay away and do not buy into the lies these people will feed you. They have a program that they make sound easy to finish and tell you that your rainbow (vacuum) will be free which is a huge lie! Good luck trying to get the people that work for rainbow to even show up when you have a scheduled demo. The program is designed to FAIL! And even if you are lucky enough to complete the program good luck trying to get them to refund you your money. HUGE HUGE SCAM AND I HOPE THEIR BUSINESS LICENSE IS PULLED.

Rainbow - KATHLEEN GA Response • May 29, 2018

This customer purchased in Nov 2017, we give ALL customers the option to do a 12 demo program in 6 months, with the first 6 due in 45 days. With that being said, there were no demos ran or booked or any effort made to book, in the months of March and April. The last day to do a demo would be 05/29/18. This customer was also a rep of ours and knew the program rules and guidelines which is a signed contract. We made multiple attempts to help this customer finish.

The contract was canceled. They failed to pickup the equipment like the contract states but have threaten to sue us.
The contract was canceled 2/7/18. According to the contract they have 20 days to pick up the equipment or else the the equipment becomes ours without any further obligation. I have text message with the Rainbow sales representative starting she was going to come get it but never showed up. Today, 3/15/18 they are threatening to file suit against us.

Desired Outcome

The contract is apparently false. It needs to be changed if they are going to follow it.

Rainbow - KATHLEEN GA Response • Mar 21, 2018

The customer did send a telegram on 02/06/18. Since the customer cancelled the contract with the financial institution, those terms and arrangements are void. The customer also signed a consignment agreement with the office that states "I understand that the Rainbow system is the property of Aqua Extreme, LLC. I further understand I have no right to claim this property until financing occurs or I have paid for it in full."

Customer Response • Mar 22, 2018

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
YOUR contract states that if the equipment is not picked up with 20 days it can be kept or disposed of WITHOUT any further obligation. So according to your contract the equipment did belong to me when your sales rep failed to pick it up after more than one occasion saying she would get it. I did my part. I cancelled within the 3 days. I made the equipment available to be picked up. I even offered to leave work and drive 30 minutes to meet her. If you are NOT gonna to honor your own contract then maybe you should change it and get some better sales reps.
