The customer checked in on date made of 11/22/and reservation was made through the Thanksgiving day holiday. They paid cash and went to the cabin. After about min came back and stated that the cabin smelt like dead mice. Not questioning the customer I moved them to a bigger
cabin with a better location. After about min the husband came back and stated his wife just did not want to stay. I told him that we had a day no cancel policy and it was heavily enforced on the holidays. He understood but state she was not going to stay that the cabin weren't up to her standards. I did give him back the money they had paid at check in but I could not give him back his deposit because it was same day, holiday, and we had another cabin on the property. I did not have to give back any moneys due to our policy but he was not happy so I did give back the days he paid upon check in. That was going above and beyond what our policy statesThe wife then called days later trying to get back the deposit but I explained it all again and she got hateful on the phone. made review threats and then this Revdex.com. I have fulfilled what was expected on our end and will not be returning any deposit due to our cancellation policy which was explained to her at time of reservation and confirmed via voice authorization before deposit was taken.The amount was not $it was $plus tax which came out to $which was a discount because during this time our rate was $a night plus tax. I was giving her this discount because she worked at a hotel. she fully understands the policies in place
