Rainbow Motel

I made a booking with Rainbowmotel through [redacted] for a 7/20/16-7/24/stayThe booking allowed me until 7/to cancel the booking free of chargeI cancelled the booking through [redacted] and received a cancellation email on 7/7/After reviewing my bank statement I saw a charge for $from RainbowMotel made on 7/21/I called the hotel and spoke to a woman who advised me to email the original booking and cancellationI emailed her on 8/26/There was no responseI called the motel on two subsequent occassions to inquire about the chargean unidentified woman told me to contact [redacted] On the third and last call to RainbowMotel the same unidentified woman hung up the phone on meI contacted [redacted] and was advised that the Motel made the charge and there should not have been a chargeI provided the information to [redacted] and they are in the process of trying to get the motel to credit my accountI have disputed the charge with my Bank

Rainbow Motel had horrible check in processI booked a non-smoking room for $and when I arrived, the owner stated Expedia should have charged us more even though we'd already paidShe gave us a smoking room, and when I explained I have asthma and paid for a non-smoking room, she forced us to pay an extra $to move to another room, and blamed ExpediaIt is not the consumer's fault the motel wants to make more money, she should take that up with ExpediaBecause it was late at night and there were not other rooms available in town for a holiday weekend, she knew she trapped us and we had to pay extra for a dirty dingy hot tub room and were not allowed to use the hot tub (they shut off the water to make sure.) Overall, horrible experience with rude staff and when I reported her to my credit card company she liedWould not recommend this motel
