We arranged our trip with Rainbow Mountain Adventure and visited Alaska in June Our son needs mobility assistance, so it was important that every place we visited our stayed needed to be handicap friendly and accessible Colette arranged and confirmed everyone one of these items for us Everyone was extremely helpful when we arrived We flew with a bush pilot; took modified pickups out to an air-boat which we rode to glaciers; traveled by train and took a cruiseWe also ate at many great restaurants she recommended

My wife and I recently traveled to Alaska from Rhode Island, Rainbow Mountain Adventures arranged our entire day night itinerary From the moment we arrived until the moment we left Alaska Colette at Rainbow Mountain was available via cell phone to answer any questions and help with any issues (the only issues were weather related which of course were out of her control) We travelled from Seward AK to Healy AK (Denali National Park) and there wasn't a day that we didn't have fun and interesting adventures, from flightseeing Mt McKinley, to numerous glacier visits, either by boat or by air We toured Denali National Park seeing Grizzly bears, Black bear, elk, deer and mountain sheep along the way Our nights were spent in beautiful B&B's or cabins that were well maintained, clean and quiet Our favorite stop was Talkeetna AK, a quant and eccentric town south of Denali, wonderful food, lodging and a great place to feel the spirit of AlaskaRainbow Mountain and Colette really made out trip easy and hassle free The magic and natural beauty of Alaska were fantastic and my wife and I are anxious to book our next trip to AK with Colette and Rainbow Mountain Adventures

What an adventure my family had traveling to Alaska for days this MayI was going to Alaska to visit my last of National Parks-Lake Clark-and I wanted to take my whole family along to join in my celebration.We ranged in age from months to years oldColette at Rainbow Mountain Adventure could not have planned a better trip for my adventurous familyWe saw so much that it is almost impossible to beliewas mind boggling taking in our two scenic flights (Denali landing on a glacier and Lake Clark landing on the Twin Lakes), a jet boat ride on the Knik River, kayaking between the glaciers in Valdez after the Whitter ferry boat ride, seeing Orcas on the Kenai NP cruise and a hike with wonderful guides at the Matanuska Glacier.We had an absolutely awesome adventure and sometimes even two adventures every dayI would recommend this trip to anyone who wants to see Alaska at its picture perfect best as well as doing all of these once in a lifetime daily adventuresAll I can say is thank you for a very special time in my life with all of my familyIt was the best and so much more than we ever expected for the price

Wow! I cannot possibly say enough good things about our experiences with Colette M*** and Rainbow Mountain Adventures! We were planning a "trip of a lifetime" adventure in Alaska, and Colette spent innumerable hours working with us to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted! From hiking on a glacier to flag stop train rides, our days were filled with activities and fun! We spent time in Denali, cruising Kenai Fjord, fishing for salmon (after flying in by plane) and even rode a mail plane north of the Arctic Circle! Everywhere we went, Colette had smoothed the path to make sure that we would enjoy ourselves worry-free I think she knows everyone in the whole state! And if that doesn't tell you enough about how great she is, then add to this trip the fact that we had two daughters celebrating birthdays (one at the beginning and one at the end) and Colette arranged, as a surprise gift to the girls, to have cakes on their birthdays-- one while whale watching on a fjord cruise and the other actually secretly hiked in and enjoyed ON a glacier Seriously? It just doesn't get any better than that! If you are lucky enough to work with Rainbow Mountain Adventures, then you too will surely enjoy an absolutely amazing trip of a lifetime!

Every detail of our trip was perfectI had never used a travel agent/trip planner services before this, but I am so glad we did for this tripColette tailored our trip to our interests and filled our itinerary with amazing experiences and breath taking sceneryShe provided information that is simply not available on Trip AdvisorWhile we were in Alaska, Colette made it clear that she was reachable in case of any unexpected changes that needed to be made(Like cancellations due to weather) The tour book that she created was loaded with additional places to explore, so we could improvise our daily schedule as we wished

Rainbow Mountain Adventure International Travel is by far the best travel company I have ever experienced Not only did they take time to find out what I specifically wanted to include in my vacation, but they provided me with a travel day by day book that had every detail of the trip Also, when there was a weather issue during the trip, they contacted me to arrange other options I felt like I was their only customer because of how much they took care of me I would highly recommend them

Such a perfect vacation, all thanks to Colette and Rainbow Mountain - not a detail out of place! This was our second time using Rainbow Mountain and I've already referred several friends and colleagues her wayEverything was perfect; our B&Bs & itinerary was just what we wanted and more! We'll be back in a couple of years :)
