their medical release would not be able to dive and that no refund would be issued. It also contained a link to the medical release form so it could be reviewed. The customer had plenty of time to contact us for a refund or we could have helped them make an appointment with a physician to see if it was possible for them to dive.  As I told the customer’s mother, we make very little money on introductory dives. When they showed up on the morning of the dive we had already incurred the cost of the instructor, boat seats, and training materials which included their medical release form. Attached is the email thread I had with the mother, a copy of the confirmation email and a screen shot that shows that the email was received and opened.
