I purchased a vacation club membership while staying at a *** *** resort in the *** *** The salesperson was extremely persistent and I attempted to leave the room several times during the sales pitch I was stopped and told to please sit down and listen to what a fantastic "once in a lifetime" deal this was and how much money I would save, if I vacationed often The salesperson said that despite paying a large amount up front, each time I redeemed one of the membership weeks, I would save about $300-$per vacation due to the discounted 'membership rate' that my Gold package entitled me to, such that after redemptions, my savings would well exceed my upfront payment
Since 2013, I have made repeated attempts to redeem vacation membership weeks and experienced the following issues, which caused me not to be able to make use of this vacation club:
