I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.

*** ***Actually no one called me that day regarding any walls or electricalII have no knowledge of any electrical issues. MG*** told my husband that he would have someone remove the walls. I learn this after the fact that no one shows up or calls. Apparently from what I am told, that the person to come out to take care of the basement refused to remove the wallsAgain I find this out after the fact and after a no show and no calls. I spoke With MrG*** that evening regarding the no showAfter a completely disappointing conversation, MrG*** said to me that maybe he should just speak with my husbandTotal sexist remark. MrG*** spoke with my husband *** and also gave him a variation of the same story he told meThen he offered *** a complete refund. Now that there is a Revdex.com complaint, MrG*** told my husband that he would give a complete refund if I removed my complaint. So first he would refund, now won't refund unless I remove the complaint. Complete unprofessional and I would care to say unethical? ***

The deposit was refunded to the customer by mail along with a letter on February 6,

In response the the complaint we, at All-Dry of the Carolinas, would like to offer the following response/explanationMrand Mrs*** requested that we visit their home in ***, SC to address and issue with water getting into the basementJonathan G*** evaluated the space, gave them an
proposal (the proposal is attached)The proposal includes the work to be done, the products that will be installed, and the total, as well as what the customer needs to do prior to the installationNotice on page three of the attached proposal, in the "Customer Will" section, the following is stated, "Provide proper dedicated electrical outlets for all pumps, and other electrical devices to be installedCut walls 32" high and studs 4" lower. Remove feet or more of flooring around perimeter." Mrand Mrs*** paid the 20% deposit as they were required to do per the attached contract and we scheduled the work for 1/17/Unfortunately, it snowed on 1/17/18, so we did not run any trucks for safety reasons, however we returned to work on 1/18/on a hour delayWhen we called Ms*** to discuss the rescheduling of the installation we learned that the walls had not been cut and the electrical had not been installed, therefore the installation was postponedUntil getting this complaint from the Revdex.com, we thought that the ***'s still wanted us to do the work and were waiting on them to let us know when they had the pre-installation work completedWe DO NOT keep customers' deposits for cancelled jobsIn some cases customers will be penalized if they wait to cancel the installation after we have ordered the products and sent the crew to their location for the installation. Had we known that the ***'s wanted to cancel rather than postpone, we would have immediately refunded the deposit
