response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. [redacted], On December 29, 2016 we filed a letter of complaint with the Revdex.com over the purchase of a hot tub in August, 2016, from Raindrops, Inc. in Farmington, NM.  At the time the complaint was submitted we had experienced several problems with the tub and those problems had not been addressed despite repeated  calls to Raindrops over three months and repeated assurances that the problems would be addressed. In late December, we contacted Mr. Lloyd [redacted], owner, via certified mail and listed our complaints and stated our dissatisfaction with the product and Raindrops’ failure to respond.  We were immediately contacted by Raindrops and a meeting was held at which we reiterated our dissatisfaction with the product and service and stated our desire to receive a full refund.  Mr. [redacted] was very understanding and apologized for the failure to attend to the problems.  He explained that there were some internal problems with service staff and procedures that had surfaced during this time and he was personally committed to correcting the situation.  He also stated that there were some issues with the particular model spa that we purchased and pledged to work with us, the manufacturer and Raindrops’ staff to make us satisfied customers. After that first meeting, we felt that Mr. [redacted] was a man of his word and would work to find a satisfactory solution to our situation, including a refund if that was what it would take to satisfy us.  Mr. [redacted], Jason [redacted] and Raindrops did, in fact, work with us in exploring options which included repairing the spa in question, negotiating an upgrade or granting a refund.  At the end of the month of meeting and discussing options, we determined that the best course was to get a full refund and Mr. [redacted] graciously followed through. What was a very negative experience for three months ended very positively, and I would not hesitate to do business with Raindrops and Mr. [redacted] in the future.  He is a man of his word and appears genuinely committed to serving customers as best he can and we appreciate his honesty and forthrightness. [redacted], according to our conversation this morning, February 8, 2017, you indicated that this complaint had been closed and I informed you we were in the process of working on a solution.  I am advising you that all issues have been addressed as detailed in the above email and we are satisfied consumers.    Please acknowledge receipt of this email.  I am forwarding a copy to Mr. Lloyd [redacted] and Jason [redacted].
