Thank you and Regards,

I saw our water heater was rusted and leaking out the bottom so I called and they came out the same day and had a new one put in. Super clean installation, pleasant technician, done fast. I will use Rain Forest again!

Regards,

We have spoken to the customer and have resolved his concerns per his email to us as follows: "As discussed today, I am withdrawing my complaint because you are undertaking adequate measures to satisfy my concerns."

We have fully settled this matter with the customer.

to make a short cut in their work they damaged my subfloor permanently when converting the bath tub plumbing into a shower one. To access the plumbing area, they cut through the floor supporting beam instead of cutting out the plywood. be careful and supervise their work constantly. even better, don't call upon their services and go somewhere else. They also are very expensive.

We spoke to [redacted] today and have processed a refund to her credit card of $100 per her request. She assures us that will use our services again in the future. All has been resolved.

To whom it may concern . On July 1st 2016 my property manager sent out a technician to make a plumbing repair since Iam the owner. The technician said it would be $775.00 to make the repair.I thought that this was outrageous. To repair a spigot leak from a 1 inch pvc pipe coming down from the vacuum breaker and leaking at the joint 1 foot deep.the technician replaced the pipe for a vacuum breaker and three-quarter inch copper pipe to a romac joint. The technician quoted me that the cost was $200.00 an hour. The job would take 2 hours and parts would be $375.00 I live in California and it had to be fixed. 2 weeks later my property manager sent out Rain Forest again because the same spigot was leaking . The technician said that the vacuum breaker was not working.I told that he should fix it since he was the last one to work on it two weeks earlier. Rain Forest wanted $449.00 to fix it . I was extremely upset. I called the supervisor at Rain Forest. I thought they should stand by their work and fix it for free since they had worked on it two weeks earlier .They said no ,supposedly it was a different problem.Even though the leak was in the same place .I was able to talk down to $296.00 for the job .Again, being in California,I felt I was taken advantage of. I also talked to the supervisor about the $ 775.00 for the first job .They said the labor cost for 4 hours was $400.00 .I had asked the technician,to have all cost in order for labor and parts. The only thing on the invoice was what the technician had done .No breakdown of cost per hour labor or parts .When I talked to the supervisor they said $100.00 an hour for 4 hours ,but the technician said $200.00 an hour for two hours .So whats the truth .The invoice said flat rate $755.30 on the first job.I checked with two plumbing companies about what it should have cost for everything..They said $475.00 to $675.00 Depending on vacuum breaker. I am going to be paying over $1060 for a job that that should have cost much less.

Review: On July 23, 2015, after having found this business to be graded by our Revdex.com with A+, I requested plumbing

services from Rainforest Plumbing for my apartment [redacted].

Plumber [redacted] came and performed the requested services. Unfortunately, I was in the hospital [total

of 2 1/2 months] trying to recuperate from a bad fall [result: broken back, shuttered hip and broken left leg],

thus could not be present when the plumber came. [redacted] was representing me and gave your plumber

the parts needed for the repair, which I had already ordered before from [redacted]: 2 mixing cartridges,

1 balancing spool and valve. The balancing spool and valve and one of the cartridges were for the plumbing

repair in the Master Bathroom and the second cartridge was for the second bathroom. The repair was performed, although not satisfactory taken care of the problem of low water pressure.

For reasons unknown to me, the second cartridge had not been installed in the guest bath room.

On August 21 I received from [redacted] an e-mail informing me that the water pressure in the MA BA is still low and

that there is no hot water in the guest bath. She informed me too that she still had the second new cartridge

for that bath. Thus, I contacted Rainforest Plumbing again to have a plumber put that cartridge [the first plumber

did not put into the guest bath room], now into the guest bath room. The company sent plumber [redacted]. He requested

from [redacted] the cartridge part he was to install, she gave it to him, he returned it to her remarking that 'this

is a used cartridge'. Since I was still in the hospital, [redacted] called me to tell me this dilemma, that apparently

the plumber [redacted] must have given her a used cartridge back instead of the second new one, meant for the guest

bath room. Plumber [redacted] then talked to me [in the hospital] and said that he has to charge $100 more for a new cartridge he would get. Being under this pressure, I did not argue but told him to go ahead and finish the repair.

[redacted] then told me over the phone that I should pay $372.81, which I did with my credit card. As I indicated, plumber S33 [redacted] must have by error taken the second new cartridge with him. Thus, I am trying to get Rainforest Plumbing to refund the $100.00 charged for the cartridge by plumber [redacted].

I would like to note too that the first plumber ([redacted] had given me an estimate for a total of $645.00 to increase

the water pressure in the MA BA, the second plumber ([redacted]) then during HIS repair visit, just cleaned the shower

head and the water pressure was increased!! I would have paid $645.00 for nothing! :-( This behavior by plumber

[redacted] gave me the impression that he was not to be trusted, what the missing new cartridge confirmed.

I do have evidence showing that there were two new cartridges were delivered and [redacted] assured me also given to plumber [redacted]. Maybe the whole issue is best summarized in the letter I sent to the owner of Rainforest Plumbing, [redacted], President

Rainforest Plumbing and Air

[redacted] September 4, 2015

Dear [redacted] Your company had been recommended to us, thus, we called upon you to have a shower cartridge and a pressure balancing spool replaced in our Master Bath and the cartridge in our guest bath.

[redacted], your plumber came, and did what was requested. But since there was still no good water pressure in

the Master Bath, he recommended a job, which was quoted/estimated at $495.00 plus $150.00 drywall work

for a total of $645.00. At the same time your plumber was supposed to replace the cartridge in our guest bath

too. He was given the two new cartridges and the pressure balancing spool.

As I was in the hospital, [redacted]l was present and gave him the parts. [redacted] did not replace the shower cartridge in the guest bath but returned it to [redacted]e. [redacted]e kept this cartridge, thinking that it was the second new cartridge, which had been ordered.

On August 27 I had contacted your company again and [redacted] sent your plumber [redacted] to now replace the cartridge in the guest bath. When he asked [redacted]e for the second new cartridge, she gave it to him. To her [and certainly to my] surprise, [redacted] informed her that the one she just gave him was a USED cartridge!? [redacted]e had received the new parts

from [redacted] before your plumbers came and assured me that there had been two new cartridges and one pressure balancing spool she had given to [redacted], your first plumber who came.

I conclude now that [redacted] must have accidentally given [redacted]e the old used one instead of returning the second new cartridge, she had given to him to replace the on in the guest bath. This is now of great concern: First of all, your plumber [redacted], who certainly wanted to do the repair, had to go out and get another cartridge for the guest bath.

The job was finished and the hot water returned to function.

The problem: Please inquire with your plumber [redacted] that he gave in the original package accidentally the old cartridge instead of the new second cartridge to [redacted]e and I was charged an additional $100.00 for this cartridge

on 8/27. I trust that you can solve this matter and look forward to the refund to my credit card of $100.00. Documentation of the delivered two cartridges and the balancing spool is available.

Thank you, [redacted]Desired Settlement: That I be reimbursed $100.00 for the cartridge plumber [redacted] had to buy as the cartridge plumber [redacted] had returned

to [redacted] was NOT the second new one for the guest bath but a used one.

I want to thank you guys for coming through the other day. We actually called another plumber in the Phoenix area that I had seen on a television ad, and they never called back! After I gave up on them and called you guys... I received a call back with a scheduled appointment in less than 20 minutes and the plumber showed up within a couple of hours. I really appreciate the quick response since we had to shut off the water and were basically down on all of the water at our office.

I will totally tell everyone about Rainforest Plumbing!

Thanks again!!

Very honest and make good on their advertised services.

I don't have enough good to say about this company. Honest, fair, conscientious. I have not seen this level of integrity in a very long time. Keep up the good work!
