An appointment was made with Charak for the 3rd of July for my son [redacted], although I was unhappy taking him there because of poor front office management. I reconsidered and called The Cleveland Clinic and was able get him into services there instead. I Immediately called Charak back, cancelled his appointment for the 3rd of July, and informed them that he would be no longer be needing their services. To our surprise we received a bill for a missed appointment for the 3rd of July. After contacting the business office they told me that my EX wife had told them that my mother had made these appointments. After contacting my Ex and my mother I found out that this statement was 100% false. My EX had told them that no appointments were to be made by anyone for [redacted] at their facility and that he would no longer be needing their services. They told her that they would NOT comply to her wishes even though [redacted] is a minor and we are his parents. When I talked to the billing office they refused to dropped the charges, even though the appointment was cancelled and furthermore, blatantly lied to me about what was discussed.
