I rented a limo from this company on 6/6/14 and the limo ride was terrible. The car was extremely hot on one of the hottest days of the year. I have contacted the company repeated times (at least 3 times & sent an email on 8/6) to get some type of compensation for this since the cost was $350. I was told repeated times someone would get back with me and no one has.Product_Or_Service: Limo rideDesired SettlementI would like some or all of my money refunded. I will not accept "credit" toward a future ride/service as I will not be spending any more money with this company. Business Response Air Conditioner Controls are located in the back of the limousine. The reason, for the A/C not working correctly, is most likely due to the user. As there were many little kids in the limousine, it is likely that a child touched the settings and either turned on the heat or turned of the A/C. The reservation was a few months ago and nothing has been done to the A/C system since the reservation and it still is working correctly, just as it was the day it left for our customers pick-up. As our customer is of the opinion that she is 100% correct and does not want to admit to any odds of someone in her party accidentally changing the settings, even though the AC is still operating correctly, we will credit the customer 50% to resolve this situation once and for all. Be there any more complaints or negative reviews from our customer, we will take legal action as her false accusations are considered slander and we will sue for the defamation of a business. Consumer Response The company's response contains false information about my complaint. I have not "defamed" the company or made "false accusations" but stated my personal experience under my first amendment rights to do so. In my direct dealings with the company there has been NO mention of them contacting a lawyer or suing me because they felt I was slandering their company. If the company wants to deal with the legal system they should have communicated that to me directly instead of trying to bully me via Revdex.com complaint response to make their company look better. EVERY WORD OF MY COMPLAINT WAS COMMUNICATED TO THE COMPANY OVER THE PHONE LIVE 3 TIMES AND THEN ADDITIONALLY IN EMAIL. The company has not taken any ownership for the service issues of their vehicle nor ownership for the poor customer service I experienced when calling their company. I ONLY RECEIVED A RESPONSE ONCE I SUBMITTED A COMPLAINT TO THE Revdex.com. The company also only wanted to blame me for the issues with their vehicle instead of acknowledging my personal experience. In addition, each time I called the company there was no ownership in how they were handling the issue. The company blew off every attempt to make my experience right UNTIL I filed a Revdex.com complaint. As explained in detail to the company representative and manager there was no one pressing buttons OR any of the controls to make the A/C and music stop playing TWICE. These "shut offs" happened while sitting in a parking lot waiting for my child and her group of friends. In addition, we had no control over how hot the vehicle was when we were picked up by the driver. We were not at the company and did not ride with the driver to make the A/C not work before the car arrived to us. In addition, I do not work for this company so cannot control when they call customers back when a complaint is voiced. I also cannot control what is communicated over the phone by the company and the lack of professionalism given. The company manager has ONLY agreed to provide a refund of 50% of my rental fee IF I REMOVE the Revdex.com complaint. The initial offer after I made the Revdex.com compliant and sent an email was a $200 credit toward a future rental or a $75 refund. Per the manager, "I can either offer you this $200 credit for you to use at a different time to provide you with the quality service that you were expecting or $75 refunded back to your credit card because we provided the service for an extremely low price to begin with."Final Business Response Your card will be refunded for 50% as stated at the end of our last email...
