My LG refrigerator stopped cooling, so my home warranty company contracted Raleigh Tech Services to fix this issue.

When I called the company, the technician answered the phone with a simple "hello" as if I were calling someone's private residence (red flag #1). I explained who I was and the reason for the call to ensure that I contacted the correct company because the phone greeting did not align with that of a professional company that services the public. Moving forward the appliance contractor stated he would follow up with an appointment time, then proceeded to text me at 10pm at night (red flag #2). He let me know that he would be coming the following day and provided a timeframe on when to expect his arrival. The appliance contractor came to my home without any personal protection equipment (PPE) even though COVID-19 was at its highest peak. The appliance contractor stated that the refrigerator needed freon, and once refilled all would be fine. The appliance contractor then stated he was unsure of what happens next but would let me know (red flag #3). I contact Raleigh Tech Services multiple times to get a status update and my husband did the same. My husband finally spoke with the appliance contractor after a week (they stopped answering from my phone number, so my husband used his phone instead) and was told the report was not sent to 2-10 yet because he knows that freon is not included as an approved repair. So, the appliance contractor decided to now become an expert on 2-10 home warranty coverage repairs even though a few days ago he told me that he was unsure of what happens next. Freon is an approved coverage repair per my 2-10 home warranty rep ***/***. I ask for a refund because at that point I could not work with a company that makes decisions based upon what they believe vs what is factual. I received the refund and contacted a competent appliance company to repair my refrigerator.

This is a fraud company. We paid to have our refrigerator repaired. The owner *** came out to our house and clearly had no idea what he was doing. He ended up making the refrigerator worse to the point that more mold, leaking and noise occurred. He left saying we just need a new refrigerator. I called and requested an official report/diagnosis so that I could have it for our files and forward to our warranty company. The owner hung up on me when I asked for the report. When I called back, he told me "not to call this number again." He hung up again. It is clear this is a sham company. The owner takes money, doesn't repair anything. When you ask for a report or bill for your files, he hangs up on you and refuses to answer.

Finish the job This company should be out of business as they are unable to finish the job.
