Review: I TOOL MY MERCEDES ML320 TO RALLYE MOTORS, IN ROSLYN, NY BECAUSE THE TRUCK WASNT GOING MORE THAN 40 MILE PER HOUR. They left the windows open for a week in the biggest rain in the last five years. They took a month to fix my truck when they finally called me to pick up the truck , none of the electrical wasn't working signals, radio, navegation and lights. Mr. C[redacted] was forcing me to pay for the truck and take it the way it was with no signal working with a 2 year old child in the car, I told him under any circuntances I will not drive the truck the way it is is not safe I will not risk the life of my son and myself plus the truck was flooded with water because they left the window open for a week on the biggest rain. I paid Rallye motors 7000 dollar to fix my truck two weeks after of picking up the truck is broke down again it was impossible to communicate with the dealership. They took advantage of a single mother with a child, customer service is below poor.

I want the dealer ship to buy my truck for the fair value, the car is no longer safe to drive.Desired Settlement: I want them to pay the fair value of the truck, is not longer safe to drive.

We had a problem with our lease contract. They added prepaid maintenance to the contract when they had said maintenance as "free" An hour after we brought the vehicle home we reviewed the Contract and discovered this cost. Called the dealership and then spent over two weeks trying to get it resolved. It was either accept the partial refund or nothing! So now two months later, NOTHING!!!

Review: I am writing this letter in hope of a resolution. Rallye Motors of Roslyn was recommended to me by a good friend and co-worker, who had nothing but praise to say about this dealership. Therefore I would be surprised if the following issues with my ML350 weren’t more satisfactorily rectified once the proper attention is attained. I recently purchased two vehicles from Rallye Motors of Roslyn. A Blue 2012 E350 sedan and a Blue 2015 ML350. I must say that I am happy with the dealings concerning the E350, which I picked up in the middle of April. This is why I have the patience with Rallye, even with all of the negative issues concerning my ML 350, which I picked up at the end of April. In order to explain my level of frustration I will briefly recount my experience concerning the latter purchase from the beginning.

The Blue ML350 was only regarded because I considered the purchase as an investment. I wanted a safe and reliable vehicle for my Wife to drive. This past winter prescribed the need for a trustworthy vehicle. When I test drove the ML350, it was quick and short. Literally we drove between the street lights once. I thought it was because I had spent so much time on the particulars for the E350, and it was late in the day, that things needed to be rushed. I thought that since the vehicle was a 2015, it was certified and it was a Mercedes from Rallye Motors of Roslyn, I could be more trusting. I did notice some cosmetic issues, but I would have never expected to have to repeatedly bring the vehicle into service for unresolved problems.

In the following days after picking the two vehicles, and before picking up the ML350, I pointed out several of the concerns I noticed during my visits to Rallye. Mostly cosmetic, I was assured that any of the concerns I had with the vehicle would be rectified by the service department. This was extremely important to me, especially since this vehicle was for my Wife. After thoroughly looking over the vehicle, I observed the following:

1. Interior stains on the front driver side seat, rear driver side seat, front seat belts and right front and side pillars.

2. Scratches on the right rear quarter panel, right rear door, right side step and hood near the windshield wipers.

3. The right side front wheel well air deflector was noticeably broken.

4. A pungent foul odor once the air conditioner was turned on.

Concerning item #1, I was assured that the vehicle would be detailed before I picked it up. And also because of the MB Tec material, the stains would wash out very easily. When I picked up the vehicle, only the stains in the front seat were removed. I figured, maybe the other stains were overlooked. I am not afraid of a little work and I am very handy so I figured I would just take care of it myself. Although I really can’t understand why, a vehicle less than one year old would have this much interior wear. I believe now that it is indicative to the abuse the vehicle was put through. I was told that the vehicle was a manger’s special. That is was only driven by an employee of Rallye Motors.

Concerning item #2, I was assured that the body shop could buff out all of the exterior scratches. And that the vehicle would look new. I didn’t notice any deep scratches that would require paint, so I accepted the assurance and kept my faith in Rallye. As for the scratches in the side step, I was told that the vehicle didn’t come with them. And that the dealership put them on the vehicle at no extra cost. So as not to seem picky I accepted them as is. I also pointed out the gap between the left side step and the vehicle. But again, because of the “at no extra cost”, I figured I would just take care of it myself.

Concerning item #3, I was assured that the broken deflector would be removed and a new one would be installed. There wasn’t any noticeable body damage to the front fender so I figured it wouldn’t be a big deal as long as it was repaired. I am still not sure how you can break this piece of the deflector but it was done. Again I believe this to be indicative to the abuse or misuse of this vehicle.

Concerning item #4, I was again assured that the service department would and could clean out the air conditioning system and remove and eliminate any foul odor present. I asked as to how a new car could smell in such a way. The answer given to me was that it was left running and then shut off. This is indicative of abuse in a vehicle that had less than nine thousand miles on it.

On my scheduled day for pick up of the ML350, surprisingly, only the stain on the front driver side seat and the aforementioned deflector were cared for. I was then told that if I took the vehicle this day that I could bring it back and have everything else fixed. My wife was very reluctant to take the vehicle. But because of what I was previously told about Rallye Motors I convinced my Wife to take the vehicle because I had confidence in the dealership to make it right. Friendly words concerning Rallye Motors, a decent experience with the purchase of my E350, and a seemingly convincing duo of sales and finance persons may have clouded my judgment. I actually regret picking up the ML350 on that date. I should have insisted Rallye fix all of the issues before I picked up the vehicle.

Since pick up day, my ML350 has been to the body shop. I must say the body shop did a good job with the scratches. My ML350 has been to the service department several times after that. The pungent smell was finally stopped after its second visit to service for the same problem. I was informed that the micro filters needed to be changed. Although it is working well as of now, I am not confident in this fix. Confusingly I was given a company memo that states that my ML350 is one of the models of Mercedes Benz that the foul smell is common in. I expressed my disbelief and obtained a copy of this memo. If this memo is correct then I have lost all confidence in any one’s ability to correct this problem. Why would Mercedes Benz make a vehicle with a common pungent foul odor? And why would anyone sell it?

At another service visit, the radio needed to be reprogrammed because the sound would frequently cut out. Sound would not return to the radio unless I cut the unit off and waited thirty or so minutes. The radio is working fine as of now. And at its most recent service visit, my ML350 was looked at by a Special Factory Trained Technician, who was brought in specifically to address the breaking issues I have. After a total of three visits for the unresolved breaking issues, I was told that the breaking is operating with in vehicle guide lines. That statement is the reason for this email. I find it really hard to believe that something as significant as braking, is without question, not given sufficient attention. The brakes in my ML 350 are weak. They lack a positive gripping feel unless you pump them. At normal driving speeds, the brake pedal will sink almost to the floor board to get a solid stop. While my ML 350 was in the service department, I drove several loaner ML 350s and each of them had much better braking than mine.

Needless to say I am now completely unsatisfied with Rallye Motors of Roslyn concerning the sale and service of my ML 350. I have been extremely patient and hopeful. No one who buys a certified 2015 vehicle should have that vehicle in the service department as much as I have. I have faith in Mercedes Benz vehicles but my ML 350 has all the signs of a vehicle that has been severely abused and is now being pushed off on me the customer. This is unacceptable.

I would like to meet with the service manager and used sales manager of Rallye Motors and discuss a satisfactory resolution.Desired Settlement: CHANGE THE VEHICLE

Sincerely,

Review: I signed a new Lease Agreement with Rallye Motors (hereinafter “Rallye”) and took delivery of a new vehicle on June **, 2015. At the time of taking delivery I was presented for the first time with a copy of the Mercedes Pre-Paid Maintenance Agreement for a cost of $1,075.00 and this payment was unbeknownst to me rolled into my Lease payment and was a material misrepresentation (innocent or otherwise) by the salesperson, as I had previously been told in no uncertain terms that I was not being charged. On June **, 2015, seven (7) days after the date the Lease and Maintenance Contract were signed, I served Rallye with written Notice of Cancelation of the Maintenance Contract as is my right under NYS Law. It is an undisputed fact that prior to cancelation no services of any kind were provided to the subject vehicle by Rallye or Mercedes Benz USA under this Maintenance Contract. Rallye confirmed receipt of the written notice of cancelation over 7 weeks ago and I am still not in receipt of the refund of $1,075.00 nor has there been an adjustment to my lease to reflect the cancelation of same and the removal of the $1,075,00 charge from my Lease. Based on the failure of Rallye to take appropriate steps following my cancellation of the Maintenance Contract I continue to incur monetary damages including but not limited to being required to make monthly lease payments which contain the cost of the Maintenance Contract and interest on the very Maintenance Contract which has been canceled effective June **, 2015.Desired Settlement: I AM NOT LOOKING TO VOID THE LEASE. I SIMPLY WANT MY LEASE AGREEMENT MODIFIED TO REMOVE THE $1,075.00 CHARGE FOR THE PRE-PAID MAINTENANCE CONTRACT THAT I CANCELED ON 06/**/15 WITH ALL OTHER CHARGES AND FEES REMAINING AS IS.

Review: I PURCHASED A CLA-250 WITH 640 MILES .A CAR THAT WAS RETURNED BY A CUSTOMER .THE SALES PERSON CLAIMED THAT THERE WAS A PROBLEM THAT WAS FIXED AND NOW THE CAR IS LIKE NEW.ANOTHER SALES PRSON TOLD MY WIFE THAT THE CAR WAS RETURNED BECAUSE THERE WAS A DEATH IN THE FAMILY . AFTER DRIVING IT FOR FEW DAYS ,WE REALIZED THAT THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH ACCELERATION .THE CAR IS DRIVING LOUSY.WE BROUGHT THE CAR BACK AND WE COMPARED THE DRIVING WITH THE DEALERSHIP TEST DRIVE CAR AND WE FOUND OUT THAT THE DRIVE IS DEFFENITLY DIFFERENT AND MUCH SMOOTHER . THE PEOPLE AT THE DEALERSHIP ARE DENYING THE PROBLEM AND TRYING TO CONVINCE US THAT EACH CAR DRIVES DIFFERENTLY WHICH I FIND IT HARD TO BELIEVE.

THE SERVICE PRSON SUGGESTED THAT AFTER WE DRIVE THE CAR FOR A COUPLE OF THOUSANDS OF MILES IT WILL GET BETTER!!!!!!!!!

WE LOST INTEREST AND TRUST IN THIS DEALERSHIP AND WE WANT TO RETURN THE CAR AND GET BACK OUR MONEY.

THE [redacted] NAME [redacted] SAID THAT IF WE WILL RETURN BACK (HIS DEFECTED CAR ) WE WILL HAVE TO LOSE MONEY AND HE WILL TAKE IT BACK FOR THE PRICE THAT "HE BOUGHT IT ORIGINALLY "!!

WE ARE VERY SURPRISED TO SEE THAT THE PEOPLE THAT REPRESENT THE NAME" [redacted] " HAVE SO MANY STORIES TO TELL ABOUT A CAR.SINCE WE LOST TRUST ON THE PEOPLE THAT REPRESENT [redacted] WE DONT WANT THEM TO FIX THEIR DEFECTED CAR THAT SOLD US AS A NEW CAR AND WE WANT TO REPLACE THIS CAR WITH A NEW CAR THAT DOESNT COME WITH ANY STORIES .

WE WORK VERY HARD FOR THE MONEY AND WE PAID FULL PRICE FOR THE CAR AND WE DONT HAVE THE TIME AND THE HASSLE TO WAIT FOR THEM TO FIX THEIR DEFECTED PRODUCT,SPECIALLY WHEN WE LOST TRUST ON THEM.Desired Settlement: FULL REFUND OR REPLACEMENT WITH A BRAND NEW CAR
