Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Marc Robinson Jewelers is making statements now that are contradictory to what they said earlierNot allowing me to give my opinion on how the item should look in my eyes takes away the personal touch and is not what I was asking forI asked for Marc Robinson Jewelers to provide a sketch or rendering before I would ever make a decision to have a ring madeI never signed a document that plainly states I gave Marc Robinson Jewelers permission to produce a ringThere is no document that clearly states that I gave Marc Robinson Jewelers my consent to start the design of a ring The only legally binding document is the credit card agreement between myself and Comenity Bank which would have been nullified when I cancelled my Iddeal credit I cancelled this card after seeing I was charged double for services I did not receive and for an item not received because it did not existI do not feel that this would make a valid purchase on 2/13/which by the Texas Business Code when I was asking for a rendering or sketchI could understand loosing a depositI was told was to give Marc Robinson Jewelers permission to start the design processBy the way things seem now, Marc Robinson Jewelers would use this document to mean anything they would like it to mean and taken completely out of context Regards, [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: The business had this ring made without my consent. I never mentioned the price or financing of the original ring I found from any other storeConsidering I never wanted to finance the item to begin withI wanted to pay cash. I was originally quoted by Marc Robinson Jewelers and settled on 3000. I was originally told that the process would take to weeksI was planing to visit the person the ring was for in weeksThey told me they could have it completed in time for my trip so the process could be shortened by a few weeks I was talked into finaning with a store credit card because they felt it was a sure method instead worrying about having in cash to payWhen my credit was run,the limit came back higher than what the sales woman expected and she said that they gave me more than she thought. During the conversation of the design the store manager joined the conversation saying that larger stones would look better with the larger sapphire and the sales woman quoted the price for with taxI did questioned that price because I was I had previously agreed to I was told the was just a quote and it Would change according to the size diamonds usedBeing told this was all so that the financing would be in place once the ring was completed and ready to be picked up as if I was being pre-qualifiedI was also told that every step of the design and build process I would need my approval before continuing to final productionthe design process would not start unless the financing was in place and sighing the receipt was giving them permission to start the design process. The store admitted that within the time I was told all of this and I would be contacted withing days of my consultation, and I was notOn ,2/20/2017, a week later I was still not contacted by yourI briefly go into the store and speak with the manager saying I wanted to confirm that the design I was wanting was the setting with the smaller stonesI was told that I could be contacted the next day, 2/I was still not contacted But instead on 2/23/I receive a text message with picture of a ring with diamonds set followed by a phone call saying that it was the ring that your jeweler madeIt is astonishing that the jeweler made a sketch and rendering and a wax mold and proceeded to produce a ring in less than days. WITHOUT showing me the sketch or rendering for me to consent to and sign off on. WITHOUT showing me the wax mold for me to consent to and sign off on to be produce into a final product. All of this happened when the store knew that I insisted on seeing a sketch, rending and mold before I would ever consider having your jeweler make a ringIn fact, my decision was based on seeing a mold first. The only mold and rending that I was shown was on 2/13/of another customers ring by the manager as examples of what they would do for me during my consultationConsidering that Marc Robinson Jewelers has no written procedure or store contract for the process to which they design and make custom jewelryNo sketch or rendering was ever shown for me to agree upon and sign off to be produced into a moldI was never shown a mold to sign off on and agree to have produced as a final productThere is also no written detailed description of shape and style of ring or of the carat weight of the sapphire , number and weight of diamonds or the total weight of white gold usedWhich at the time I was charged, it was for something that did not exist and was not clearly told or was it clearly stated that I would be charged at that moment in which nothing was delivered. there is also no written clause within their receipt saying I cannot cancel an orderI do not understand how it would be possible for you to use a credit card agreement from the bank issuing the card as the contact for the business. If so, it would have been cancelled when I called to cancel the card. I also contacted the bank that issued the Iddeal credit card on 7/3/over I had open a dispute with you store over the same matter in the beginning of March to confirm that they said, they closed the dispute because you said that I had picked up the ring from this store How is it that I took delivery of a ring, but the store still has the ring ?Mark Robinson's Jewelers is saying that they have now made ring that I never approved designs for because I was NEVER shown a sketch, I was NEVER shown a rendering, and I was NEVER shown a mold that I could approve for productionYet the second ring you said you still made while ignoring my first request to cancel after calling the sales woman on 2/27/because the center stone would be too large and have the wrong proportions because I had given the incorrect sizeStill ignoring my second request on 3/6/when I had a companion with me, who hears the how I am told that I could not have what I specifically asked forI tell the sales woman to NOT do anything else and she Agrees to Not DO ANYTHING elseWith that saidI do not see how a ring could be made when every step I asked to see was ignoredand if the ring was madewhy could a picture of it not be sent to me as before, beyond the fact that it is something made, All without my full consent. Nothing has been done to my satisfaction, you charged me before anything was ever startedMy reason for canceling is because of your inability to provide the services I asked for. All of this when I want a special item made in good faith and then am finagled into something I did not ask for.The time frame in which I needed this item has long passed. The only resolution I see is to have the whole project be dissolvedThen, there may be a positive response from me when asked about a particular store instead of an extremely negative which I have now. Is there any other information that I should provided ? Would the credit card account information or phone numbers from Comenity Bank be helpful in cross referencing what they did and what the store's response was ?

Hi,Purchase was made in month of March through the finance company for ONLY $ which if not paid in full on time will have some additional interest and charges.Also as per our records purchase was for permanent custom diamond grill inclusive of the dentist charges paid by the business.Not
sure where it was heard or tested but all our goods come with 10K stamp inclusive of grills which we show it to customer while giving the merchandise.Please stop by at our store at your convenience and we will be more then happy to help to test the diamonds and gold on the grill.All our goods come with life time warranty as mentioned on sales receipt ,if grill is falling then we can help to put it back with the help of our dentist. the complain is resolved ....costumer us happy .there was refund already issued to costumer and he promised to come back and spent with us again .he is ok with us just was not the right product he wanted . refund is being issued .thank u

Hi, My name is [redacted] and I am the store manager for our barton creek mall location and we tried calling this customer time to time to resolve this issue but he insisted on going through his lawyer and not ready to talk about it. He was in the market for a blue sapphire ring and came to us...

looking for one and found out that we do custom make the ring he saw and liked somewhereHe mentioned that he was quoted $3000 for a similar ring & was offered financing for 12months at 0% APR , So we offered him the same deal.After he got approved for a higher credit limit from our bank he decided to buy bigger and better quality diamonds around the sapphire which obviously raised the price from his initial budget of $3000 and he was ok with that We also extended the terms from 12 months to 36 months to accomodate his desired monthly payment .The financing terms were explained to him before he signed the contract he also signed the store receipt. it was clearly explined to him that all custom orders takes 3 to 4 weeks. We have the Ring in our store ready to be delivered. Its true that first ring came out to be different than what he wanted but we went ahead and Redid the whole new Cad. Its custom job and it takes time and during that time we tried calling him but he refused to talk to us and told us his lawyer would contact us.  He was very clear about the whole process of custom job and agreed to it by signing the store receipt and the credit card agreement . If he had any disagreement about the price being higher than he wouldn’t have signed the credit card agreement which clearly says “ The Amount of $6702 financed at 0% APR for 36 months . We believe in repeat customers and good customer service , So we are ready to resolve this matter in good faith and wants him to be happy . since this was a custom order and ring is already made to her finger size we are willing to offer him the ring for the initial price quoted and re do the contract .Thanks and best Regards[redacted]
