Del Rio Ram Country is currently running my credit for a vehicle purchase in which I did not authorize. The GM, Pat Collins, stated that he could do whatever he wanted since I had left my personal information when I purchased a previous vehicle. They could run my credit as long as I left my authorization there once. I asked him to please contact the credit bureaus in regards to this error and he said he would not do it in writing. HE would call them whenever he was available. HE Said this would not be done anytime soon. Again HE blamed me for this occurring.
In November 23 I took my vehicle, it took a whole month for them to fix it.. they charge me for a part that didnt need and a test that was useless because after they charge me $876 on December 24 my truck was never fix.. I took it again and it took 2 more months for them to fix it which I haven’t pick up yet because they want to charge me again $838 for their work when the first time they messed up I dont think its fair nor professional on their part..
customer initially brought vehicle in and we replaced bank switch for a draw, told customer that 1 battery tested bad and we needed battery replaced to properly check charging system. This vehicle was purchased in *** and has a lot of wiring underneath of added aftermarket components, and vehicle is deleted. Customer declined replacing battery, 3 weeks later vehicle came in again. We advised customer battery had to be replaced in order to properly diagnose vehicle as he was told last time he was in service. Customer got upset he said he was not going to replace battery and demanded vehicle be looked at in that condition. I personally spoke to him at that point and I told him I was going to borrow a battery from one of our used cars in order to properly check vehicle for draw, did not charge him labor for swapping batteries or diagnostic, all we charge was for removing dash because that is where the 2nd draw was coming from. The Hvac was corroded and wires going to it had corrosion and replaced hvac module. *** never answered, *** called him and so did I. His wife approved the repairs. The reason we had the vehicle here so long was because he would not approve the battery, and till this day he refuses to replace the battery. I believe we did what we had to do to take care of customer. the 835.31 that he owes is for removing dash to check draw and replaced hvac.
I purchased a brand new truck in august 2017, a family member bought the same make, model, and color of truck on the same day and did not realize that the dealership put our family member in the truck we had purchased and put us in the vehicle that the family member had purchased. this went on for about 6 months until we decided to change insurance company for our vehicles that the insurance agent was able to tell that it was not the truck that we had purchased in august 2017. we took the trucks back to the dealership to resolve the problem and they redid the paperwork but yet we have not received our license plates. The dealership doesn't even answer our calls, its been an ongoing struggle. please help.
The dealer ship has had my vehicle since August of 2016. They told me that they will have my vehicle ready by September and I kept calling and and going to check up on my vehicle. they moved it to a different company to fix the repairs and they just now got it back I say the end of April of 2018. I had complained and tried to see if I could talk to someone higher then the manger but no one would help me. I have complained and they still gave me the run around. They said that it would be ready in 2 weeks for about 6 months now. I have tried and I still don't have my vehicle.
