Revdex.com:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me A Ram Jack representative called me this morning, August 6, 2015, to say they will not charge me for their error($1000.00) This involved the installation of an additional pier which I had not been informed of I would like to be sure this information about a resolution is made as public as the original complaint has been I can live with this resolution and am pleased that someone at RJ understood the situation and understood my point of view as well Thank you, [redacted] ***

The first contract received from [redacted] was received 6/13/after he had already signed a contract with Fox Plumbing for $20,This was also the first time we received any sort of contact in regard to the issue despite [redacted] receiving the first estimate on June 8th and a second estimate on June 12thOnce contacted (June 13th) Ram Jack immediately offered to send someone out to repairMr [redacted] explained that the repair was in progress and he just wanted Ram Jack West to pay for itWe explained to him multiple times that the cost far exceeded what this type of repair typically costs but that we would look at the information and speak with the owner, to make a decision After having the information provided by [redacted] and Fox Plumbing reviewed by a licensed plumber it was determined that the work done was significantly more (3-times as much) than what was necessary to repair any damages caused by Ram Jack WestAlthough our Terms and Conditions release us from any liability, we offered to pay the cost of the original bid of $which is what this type of repair typically costsThe [redacted] s declined and asked us to pay half, to which we then increased our offer to $as a courtesy to help with the repair costsThe [redacted] s declined our offer and requested that we turn it into our insurance for paymentWe explained that it is our understanding that they would need to file a formal complaint/suit against Ram Jack in order for insurance to create a claim When we told them they would need to file a claim in order for us to turn it in, they then reported to the Revdex.com and asked for the total plus damage to their hedge, which wouldn’t have needed replaced if Ram Jack West would’ve done the repair***PLEASE SEE ATTACHED [redacted]

When this matter was brought to my attention, I authorized the installation of the additional pier at no costI have left a message for Ms [redacted] this morning to make her aware of this, and look forward to speaking with her to bring this to quick closure

Mr. [redacted] explained that the repair was in progress and he just wanted Ram Jack West to pay for it. We explained to him multiple times that the cost far exceeded what this type of repair typically costs but that we would look at the information and speak with the owner, to make a decision.   After having the information provided by [redacted] and Fox Plumbing reviewed by a licensed plumber it was determined that the work done was significantly more (3-4 times as much) than what was necessary to repair any damages caused by Ram Jack West. Although our Terms and Conditions release us from any liability, we offered to pay the cost of the original bid of $4800 which is what this type of repair typically costs. The [redacted]s declined and asked us to pay half, to which we then increased our offer to $7500 as a courtesy to help with the repair costs. The [redacted]s declined our offer and requested that we turn it into our insurance for payment. We explained that it is our understanding that they would need to file a formal complaint/suit against Ram Jack in order for insurance to create a claim.   When we told them they would need to file a claim in order for us to turn it in, they then reported to the Revdex.com and asked for the total plus damage to their hedge, which wouldn’t have needed replaced if Ram Jack West would’ve done the repair.
