I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ***, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
At first request, the manager never requested a written letter or my boss' Driver's licenseHe requested the hotel confirmation and credit card statementAfter having sent those documents, he then proceeded to ask for the driver's license and a written letterAfter asking for email address to where I can send these documents, he refused to provide me with an email address by giving an absurd excuseI understand protecting a guest's identity, but why weren't all the needed documents addressed the first time? If he's had many bad cases wouldn't he know all the documents and paperwork needed? After spending over an hour trying to send the first fax over (their line was busy) I was not going to attempt to spend another hour trying to fax his driver's license and a written statementHad he just provided me with an EMAIL address this could have been resolved quicklyAgain, I was not asking for any type of credit card information, just looking for the itemized hotel foilo for our company's ***. The manner and process which I was met is the basis of my complaintPlease address the manner in which you speak and conduct business with your guests

Hotel guest has right to protect his privacy, that is why we can not give out any information including folio for anyone else except guest his own. As a small hotel in NYC, we get all kind of call...

all the time. since we can not id the caller on the phone, that's why we need some kind of information to id the caller. we have guest id copy and credit card information upon check in and can match the information caller give out. If we didn't get right information then we will choose turn down the request to protect our guest and hotel.

Review: I booked this hotel on my [redacted] app unknowing this was a [redacted] operated hotel. I was in a rush as my boss was stuck at [redacted] over 6 hours close to midnight and all the hotels in the vicinity were sold out! I was in a rush to find something available and this popped up on my phone app as available. My boss had to take the next flight tomorrow morning and was in a rush and had issues with the front desk and was unable to get the folio at the time.As the [redacted] of our Company's [redacted] I needed the hotel folio to process the [redacted]'s expense report, but he refused to give me the hotel foilo asking for the credit card statement and email confirmations faxed to him. Although it was a bit strange I obliged and faxed all the documents to him. I requested he provide his email to me and he said he could not provide it to me!! How strange is that...After faxing all the requested documents he still refused to give me the hotel folio because he needed to prove the identity of the actual guest. He then proceeded to ask for the guests' driver's license faxed to him and a written letter requesting the hotel folio. I just found this odd, as I've never experienced this with ANY hotel. I felt he was being RACIST, had it been a [redacted] guest I probably would not have run into this problem. Unless you are [redacted], please stay away from this hotel. The Manager "[redacted]" is very unprofessional and rude. I think he is suffering from paranoia that anyone who is not "[redacted]" will steal from him, but I don't know why he continuously refuses to provide me the hotel folio.Desired Settlement: Would like the folio of guest's stay as requested.
