I stayed at Ramada on the above date. The front desk personnel had not behaved appropriately. There were lack of business ettiquettes, infact yelling and abusing me. Once I checked in, I informed that there was no internet at my room, but I never had that serviced. Inspite of several calls to Wyndham, I had been assured that the complaint will be looked into and I will receive a call back. I haven't received any call back yet.Desired Settlement: Contact me to discuss how to resolve this.

Ramada closed the case already. He never complained about the wifi now he is complaining about wifi

to you. I will attached the original file to Ramada. He was rude to my desk clerk and was trying to get a

$40 rate. This is a rate between us and Expedia.com

We cannot honor that rate because it is between travel agent and hotel. He got upset and keep making pre-paid reservation every day

from Expedia.com with different room types. When he arrived, he asked for a different room type than what he wanted on the reservation

he made with Expedia.com I will attached the log. He was getting upset because we have to move him to different room every day. We try to

explain because the reservation you made was not for the same type of room. We have already send a mail explaining what happened.

And I have no idea why is complaining about this almost 1 year after his stay.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I've stayed in Ramada hotel at different locations and have never had any problems except this one stay on this particular day. Even my earlier stay at same locations were good except for this one stay and this one staff personnel.

This is very pathetic and insane argument from the business trying to defend the front desk staff who was so rude with no business ettiquettes. First off, there was no discussion whatsoever from me about the rate. When I was offered a handicapped room, I politely asked that the room specified in my booking appears to be a non-handicapped one. I wasn't aware that accessible room implied a handicapped room in hotels terminology. The front desk guy told me that this room is booked as a handicapped room and I have to pay extra money to change it to another room. I didn't agree to changing to another room and I said I would take the handicapped room. He was trying to make extra money, that was the bottomline. I didn't want to honor his greed because I was just ok with the room that I got. There was no question of me going down on the rate as mentioned in the business response, but instead the business was trying to rip me off with extra money that I didn't agree. When they finally agreed to book the room and when the contract was signed off by me, their staff started abusing me (because he didn't get the deal by me booking a different room). Can business answer this question: why would their staff continue to remind me that the booking made was an accessible room, when I have already agreed and have paid mpney in advance and am ok to go with the booked room? Why? Why would their staff keep reminding me about that after taking money from me? Can they verify their records and tell me if this is not true? Tell me the truth. Has the front desk staff not abused me by yelling at me stating that I booked a handicapped room?

As far as wifi and the complaint lodged after almost a year of stay goes, here's my answer.

Wifi: I politely complained that there's no wifi in my room although my booking states that there should be wifi but to no avail. As far as the time lapse, let me tell you that I have consistently tried to reach them addressing my issue over a period of almost one year, and every time I was told that the manager will call me back. They haven't called me even once. Had they called me and taken note of my complaint, the matter would have been resolved amicably. As you can see that finally I took to Revdex.com, and inspite of Revdex.com contacting the business multiple times, they haven't responded earlier in the first few attempts.

Review: I had made a reservation through [redacted].com for two rooms with two double beds each, and a guaranteed pull-out/extra bed each for 3 nights from 05/09/14 to 05/12/14. This booking was all paid for right from the start. Upon reaching the hotel, we were told that we would have to pay for the extra bed in each room in direct violation of the booking and contractual obligations. Furthermore the woman in charge of the hotel desk was extremely rude and refused to let us speak to the manager, and told us she "will not let us enter the hotel and give us a room if we didn't pay up". We got in touch with the [redacted].com Customer Service line, who verified that we indeed were entitled to an extra bed per room with NO charge, and they tried to speak to the woman in charge at the hotel desk. She rudely told him that she didn't care what the [redacted].com contract said and in the words of the [redacted].com Associate was "adamant that we pay up". [redacted].com was gracious enough to ask us to pay, and promised that we will be refunded for all extra charges. While I was on hold on my cell-phone the [redacted].com Associate tried dialing the hotel desk again to verify that they even HAD the beds that we would be paying for. We saw with our own eyes that the woman disconnected the Associate's call and refused to pick up. We finally agreed to pay the amount of USD 33.30 for ONE extra bed for all three nights and were rudely refused a receipt at the time of payment, and were told we would only receive it during check-out. This payment was made in cash. All of this occurred minutes before the writing of this complaint. I believe it is illegal to violate contractual obligations and to make a sale and refuse a receipt. Furthermore, the people and management who run this place are extremely discourteous and callous. It is only fatigue that has prevented us from calling the Police, as we were charged and received no receipt for the cash payment for the bed. We basically have no proof that we indeed paid. This is an outrage.Desired Settlement: While [redacted].com has offered to refund us, there is a significant amount of grief this incident has caused us. We waited in the hotel lobby for close to an hour with no assistance from this disgusting Hotel's staff. How this hotel run and can go on like this with impunity is unclear. Note that many attempts were made to ask for the Hotel's actual policies on this matter in written form, but to no avail. These guys need to be penalized, and I need a written apology from them and a refund.
