Review: I was due to check into the Ramada Long Island City on the [redacted] of august 2015 however our domestic flight from ORLANDO was cancelled due to technical issues and weather. As soon as I found out I informed the front desk of ramada and also informed hotel.com through whom I booked my stay with.

We were told that this uncontrollable situation was not adequate for a refund for the night of the [redacted]- $130 down the drain

On the night of the [redacted] when we arrived a member of staff informed us that because we had not arrived on the [redacted] they could not check us in through the system. HOW CAN THIS BE, WHEN WE INFORMED THEM TWICE OF OUR CIRCUMSTANCES. They said that it was a NO SHOW on our part and we were made to wait almost an hour to be allowed into the room.

We reserved two queen beds for me and my two siblings and we're shocked to see the how small the room was. We did not complain about this as we believed it would be out of anyone's hands. However the following morning my brother woke up infested in bed bug bites and was left [redacted]. It was horrible and made us feel very uncomfortable.

Housekeeping didn't clean the pillows and bedsheets although this was requested .Dirty towels was the norm and we stayed 3 nights with NO curtains. absolutely horrified and disturbed to see bugs on our bed and cleaned the beds myself. You might be wondering why we didn't change hotels. We came in the busiest period for a holidays and as students we were on a budget and because the payment was made and they did not offer a refund, we were forced to stay.

None of the staff members helped us in anyway especially the guy during the day he didn't even give us his name nor did he give us the magers name. He was very uncooperative with the check out services and wanted 50 dollars per hour for any additional hours we wanted to stay.

I have been so disappointed and furious with customer service and hotel management. And would advise all to stay away from Ramada especially in Queens. My brother had to seek medical assistance and was told it would take days for the Inflammation to reduce

It was the WORST experience of my life and I advise all to stay away.

Review: On Sept **, I checked into the Ramada Inn hotel in Long Island City, NY. On September **, my friend had broken out into a rash. Then, shortly after we found bed bugs in both of our beds. When I brought this issue to management, the manager Shawn, claimed he had never heard of this and offered a brand new room. We decided to check out the new room, only to find in that room, a blood stain in the pillow and unknown stains on one of the beds.

When I went back down to tell Shawn, he said Priceline could refund me for the 27-28, because I had not checked in yet. But for the 25-26th, I was unable to receive a refund because I "did not complain about it the first night and it was too late to receive a refund." I told him the bed bugs were unacceptable and I want head managements information.

He also said that the night of the [redacted] could not be refunded until the next day and to call a Mr.L[redacted] at ###-###-####. I did call the next day and he wasn't there. I continued to call through the week and still have not gotten through. I am unable to leave a message because the mailbox is full.

I have e-mail that locations account, contacted corporate, and still have not received a response. I just want my refund for the stay of Sept [redacted], 2015. If you need photo evidence of the bed bugs, blood stains, and my friends rash, I am able to provide those photos for the complaint.Desired Settlement: $356.92

Review: I checking into this hotel on 1/*/15 at about 3-4 pm, I get into my room and laid down to take a nap, when I woke up I went to take a shower, as I started to look I noticed quite a few things that were wrong with the room, for one there was a black plastic holder attached to the side of the shower that was covered in mildew, then I look down at the drain and notice that the stopper for the tub drain was broken and when I went to look at it I noticed that it was not attached to the tub and when I picked it up it was covered in hair, mold and mildew, I then look at the towels and when I looked at them I noticed there were long black hairs on the towels, I went down to the desk to complain when I went down the gentleman who checked me in told me that my issues were not valid becuase I checked in 4 hours before that and didnt say anything right away. I tried to tell him that I didn't go into the bathroom right away. I got upset about this and told them that I would like to be refunded for the night and that I was taking my business elsewhere. Another gentleman came out and told me that They would comp my room because of the issues and even move me into another room. I asked at the time If I could have a print out stating that I had a zero balance for my room, he informed me to call come by the desk in the morning and the gentleman in the morning would get me all squared away. When I came down to the desk in the morning they had charged my credit card $83.10, when I tried to explain what I was told the night before the gentleman at the desk told me "No we dont do things like that here" I then started to go into the issues I had and even tried to show him the pictures that I had taken and he cut me off and said "People like you (gay people) only complain to get free stuff". I informed him that I would be placing a formal complaint with their corporate offices. I immediately contacted to corporate offices, I was told that someone would contact me within 3 business days. I called them back today and I was told I would have to wait another 3 business days for them to review my complaint and even then I may not get my money back. When expressed the fact that I was not happy with this outcome or the fact that I wasnt getting any real information I was told that there was nothing that could be done to help me.Desired Settlement: I would like a formal apology from this company for 1) Their employees telling me that I my issues with the hotel room are void even though my room was not clean. 2) For the employee who said that "People like me ([redacted]) only complain to get free stuff" which is disgusting to say to someone and is illegal. 3) For getting the round about and for no one stepping up and helping a paying customer who was wronged by their own employees.

I would also like a full refund of my room including the room rate and any taxes and fees for the fact that I was illegally discriminated against for being [redacted] and for the fact that the service that I was paying for was not what I got.
