Review: For the amount of money we paid to stay at this hotel we expected a better experience. The room is suppose to be a nonsmoking room but it smells as if people have been smoking in the room for awhile. I have asthma and this is effecting my health because I am having to cough constantly in the room. There are stains on the mattress and the sheets. When we went to breakfast this morning there was mold on a bagel. I called the Ramada customer service to ask for a transfer to another location and all I got was I'll forward your complaint to management. They said they could not transfer me because each Ramada is individually owned. If that is the case why do you go on there website and it links you to all Ramada locations.Desired Settlement: Refund of all 4 nights because before this matter will be solved it will be too late for a transfer

Review: recently stayed at ramada limited san diego/ near sea world. was aware of non-smoking room policy never smoked in room went outside every time, manager even saw smoking in the parking lot came over and brought a chair to sit in right next to the ash tray outside. The ramada claims that the room has a smoke odor and charged credit card full $200 deposit. Never did they see anyone smoking the room did not find or claim to have found any butts ashes and/or burn marks of any kind. This is a fraudulent and very underhanded business practice claiming to smell odors with no proof of any wrong act or violation of their non-smoking policy. Futher more asked manager about the construction going on in room next door to mine claimed all work and noise was done by 7:00 pm every night. How then was it they were tacking carpet down at approx 8:00 pm (not making any noise of course because that is a quiet job) manager/owner said that never happened even though I was there and saw it with my own eyes.Desired Settlement: I want the full $200 deposit charged to the card refunded at once and this unfit fraudulent business practice is stopped

construction noise was over by 7pm every night, guest didnt come to front desk to check out, which is the reason they werent told about the smoking charge, the room did smell like smoke as soon as you open the door.
