Renters Beware!! This complex is owned by a nationwide corporate chain and they care nothing for their property and even less for their tenants I am a current tenant who is trying to get out of here as soon as is humanly possible! This company took over the complex in and it has gone downhill since then I have spoken to previous employees who have voiced their opinions and stated facts about this company which I cannot rightfully repeat, but would scare anyone who is thinking about moving in! The rent I pay has gone up over $a year every year since they took over They say they are upgrading the property, but they are not really doing that The only thing they have done to upgrade the property is to have all the buildings painted! Some examples of my experience: It took years for them to finally resolve the issues I was having with my porch Handrails in disrepair and falling apart Balcony walls that had separated from landing and were a safety hazard Concrete that had cracked and was missing pieces as well I requested for repairs numerous times and it wasn't until my wife threw the ADA safety card around that they FINALLY came out and took days to fix everythingI currently have electrical issues throughout the entire apartment All the lights in the apartment will dim minutes after turning them on The speakers on my computer short out when turning the light switch off When I informed them of this they told me that the wiring was old and bad; it was antiquated aluminum versus standard but they were not going to resolve the issue, just put new outlet boxes on as a band-aid solution I spoke to a master electrician about the issue and he said that this was a major safety issue and that it was a fire hazard just waiting to happen!! I have signed multiple lease extensions only because it was the cheapest place in town for rent, and I was unable to afford to move anywhere else In so signing these extensions, there have been perks offered to me, such as a steam cleaning of the carpet once per year, or linoleum floor in entryway Neither of these have happenedAnd now they are trying to tell me that I cannot have a satellite dish on my porch; they say it is a violation of my lease If I don't remove it by a certain date they will have their employees remove it for me However when I called the satellite company I was informed that they are in violation of FEDERAL REGUATIONS by forcing me to take the dish down, AND because it is on my porch and already installed that they also cannot touch the dish But rest assured, they will still try to do just that It's just the way they are! Please take note! If you are looking for a place to live, LOOK ELSEWHERE! Run away and do not look back! This company is a slumlord! No matter how good they appear, and no matter what they say----all it is, is an act, trying to lure you in for money! They don't care about you! They only care about money!

Renters Beware!! This complex is owned by a nationwide corporate chain and they care nothing for their property and even less for their tenants. I am a current tenant who is trying to get out of here as soon as is humanly possible! This company took over the complex in 2008 and it has gone downhill since then. I have spoken to previous employees who have voiced their opinions and stated facts about this company which I cannot rightfully repeat, but would scare anyone who is thinking about moving in!
The rent I pay has gone up over $100 a year every year since they took over. They say they are upgrading the property, but they are not really doing that. The only thing they have done to upgrade the property is to have all the buildings painted!
Some examples of my experience: It took 2 years for them to finally resolve the issues I was having with my porch. Handrails in disrepair and falling apart. Balcony walls that had separated from landing and were a safety hazard. Concrete that had cracked and was missing pieces as well. I requested for repairs numerous times and it wasn't until my wife threw the ADA safety card around that they FINALLY came out and took 2 days to fix everything.
I currently have electrical issues throughout the entire apartment. All the lights in the apartment will dim 2 minutes after turning them on. The speakers on my computer short out when turning the light switch off. When I informed them of this they told me that the wiring was old and bad; it was antiquated aluminum versus standard but they were not going to resolve the issue, just put new outlet boxes on as a band-aid solution. I spoke to a master electrician about the issue and he said that this was a major safety issue and that it was a fire hazard just waiting to happen!!
I have signed multiple lease extensions only because it was the cheapest place in town for rent, and I was unable to afford to move anywhere else. In so signing these extensions, there have been perks offered to me, such as a steam cleaning of the carpet once per year, or linoleum floor in entryway. Neither of these have happened.
And now they are trying to tell me that I cannot have a satellite dish on my porch; they say it is a violation of my lease. If I don't remove it by a certain date they will have their employees remove it for me. However when I called the satellite company I was informed that they are in violation of FEDERAL REGUATIONS by forcing me to take the dish down, AND because it is on my porch and already installed that they also cannot touch the dish. But rest assured, they will still try to do just that. It's just the way they are!
Please take note! If you are looking for a place to live, LOOK ELSEWHERE! Run away and do not look back! This company is a slumlord! No matter how good they appear, and no matter what they say----all it is, is an act, trying to lure you in for money! They don't care about you! They only care about money!

[redacted] [redacted] [redacted]Hello- RE: Complaint ID # [redacted].  The problem reported by the tenant...

of bugs (ants) in apartment has been resolved.  The apartment was treated by a licensed pest control company on 5/20/2016. However, the complaint information provided by tenant [redacted] [redacted]-[redacted] is inaccurate and overly-exaggerated.  Per the tenant’s lease, tenant is required to give written notice of any reported pest sightings for management to resolve.  Tenant failed to do so until 5/17/2016 at 2:16pm.  This is contradictory to her complaint background as provided to the Revdex.com that she informed Ramblewood Apartments on 4/6/2016.  Ramblewood could find no record of problem entered as a work order, pest log, email, or written request from tenant.  Nevertheless, Ramblewood Apartments contacted our pest control contractor after being notified and treated the problem on 5/20/2016.  This was done at no cost to the resident.  The bug problem turned out to be a minor case of ants.  A small ant problem for the season is normal, as the complaint was filed in early spring.  The resident has not followed up with or contacted Ramblewood Apartments since the treatment.  As of this response to Revdex.com on 5/24/16, Ramblewood Apartments considers the matter resolved.  Please see attached documentation for your review.  These contain the original notification by the tenant on 5/17/2016 and the treatment notes by Ramblewood’s licensed exterminator.  Please feel free to call me on my cell at [redacted] if you have any questions or need clarification.  I would like the complaint removed from our official Revdex.com record, as the information provided by the customer is inaccurate.  Furthermore, the minor problem was resolved within three business days. Thank you, Charles S[redacted]Community Manager155 Briarwood RoadFort Collins, CO 80521[redacted]   [redacted]Ramblewood Logo      RamblewoodApartmentHomes.comMonarch Investment & Management Group

When they called about bedbug concerns on Friday (2/2), we asked our pest control contractor to inspect the unit to confirm the pest issue. (Our pest control contractor visits our property each Friday.) However, without more advanced notice the contractor could not treat that day. The inspector...

found no bedbug activity, but we scheduled the unit for treatment the next week (2/9). On (2/5), we had the residents sign the waiver of treatment through our pest company to be treated on Friday (2/9). This was signed by the resident including the treatment date and preparation guide (see attached). A copy was given to the resident. The earliest possible treatment date available was Friday, 2/9. On their scheduled treatment date (2/9), the residents were not prepared, and pest control was unable to conduct the treatment on the apartment. We had to reschedule for 2/16. They did the initial treatment on 2/16. Residents do not have to pay for bedbug treatment. It is in our best interest to treat for bedbugs when they are found to limit spread. I have attached service reports from our pest control contractor (see attached). The redacted portions of the reports are reports for other units. I have also attached the waiver of treatment.
