Thank you for allowing us to address this member concern After doing lots of research we finally found the person this member is referring to She said she signed her friend up but she failed to give us the name of that person on the Revdex.com concern After looking at the notes we find that our member cancelled her membership in It was terminated She mentioned to our cancellation manager that she wanted to cancel her friends contract also that she was paying for We advised her to have the friend contact us to give us another form of payment to put on the account We never heard from her friend until July 18, At that time the friend called us and we advised him to mail a cancellation request and we gave him the address We never received it and did not hear back from him or the member that signed him up We are not sure who she has been speaking with about the five cancellation requests because we have no evidence of these calls The member contract went into auto renewal and kept billing We don't have any information showing that Ms [redacted] called us back We have terminated the account immediately today I did call our member to discuss and left a voicemail for her We will be glad to help if you need further assistance Thank you Max Fitness - Customer Service

No that is why I sent her a very detailed EMAIL stating my issuesNo I did not answer nor respond to the call I received on Friday because I was awaiting advice from my legal teamI sent a check for $to your main office to cancel my membership and will be expecting my check backAdvice to you Max Fitness, you have horrible reviews about the same thing MONEY, if you stated your policies while your staff is signing people up for memberships, I'm sure you wouldnt have this issueSo Yes I will accept my refund and will definitely write a review about my time at this gym which wasn't bad at all but you took my money instantly when I signed up for a membership years ago but it takes months to cancel a membership? There was a name and phone number on the original reply from our company but we have received no messages from member Also we are hoping that the members would not hand over $cash to someone in the gym and not get a receipt? Thank you for contacting us about this member concern Our member's wife also submitted a concern which we answered earlier today As mentioned in the reply earlier, we have terminated both agreements and voided the balance due There has been no negative credit reported on either account At this time upper management will not authorize a refund due to the fact agreements were signed and initialed as read and understood We apologize for any inconvenience and for any miscommunication between member and sales staff There was no intent to scam or confuse member All policies, rules, cancellation fees and such were initialed as understood Please let us know if you have further questions Thank you Max Fitness customer service

We have determined that our member can terminate the personal training membership as he did attempt to rescind in the proper time frame. The account has been terminated. Our member mentioned that he wanted a refund but according to our records member has disputed all charges with his bank so at this time a refund will not apply. Thank you for allowing us to address this member concern. Our member was under contract with a signed agreement for months. The contract does not expire until November 2016. We do not have any notes in our system regarding all the medical information or the request to
cancel. We have nothing to go on as to how or when member tried to cancel. We do know that Ms*** contacted her in April about the past due balance. As a courtesy to our member we have agreed to cancel the contract early, and we have voided the enhancement fee and April and May dues. The account is terminated with no balance due. Thank you for allowing us to respond to this member concern. We submitted this concern to management because the member says he did not want to sign up for a year contract. I do not know how this confusion occurred but we are trying to correct it. After the review the account
has been terminated. When the member talked with our cancellation department they used profanity during the conversation which never solves or helps the situation. Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this member concern. After much investigation and the great help from Ms*** in our cancellation department we found several discrepancies in the agreement when member first joined. We had two types of membership for the same monthly
fee. She wanted month to month and we signed her up for the other membership. We believe our member owed two payments even with the discrepancies but our upper management has agreed to void her balance and terminate. We hope our member will be pleased with this outcome. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Max Fitness still has not resolved the charges I have disputed against themNow, a month later I still haven't received a copy of the contract nor any headway to a refundThough they are threatening to send me to collections as of 6/8/2015, which would wrongfully ruin my credit over a simple matterI was well within the time period to cancel for a full refund, and put a stop payment days after signing the contract (which I never received a copy to review) , which I would think proves my intent to cancel.
