Ramey Save A Lot

I went to Ramey Toyota on 4/4/14 to find out why my rear door would not open. Received a call back from service department [redacted] he advised that the rear latch was busted, he went on to tell me that with the parts and labor that it would be 9 dollars shy of $500.00. This is highway robbery. I've have researched and found that this is a constant problem with [redacted] vehicles. I feel that these prices are flat out ridiculous!!! Once I was told of cost, I informed him that I felt this was too much for repair seeing as I am a divorced mother trying to make ends meet and not to repair it. They informed me, they would have to put the panel back on and would let me know when it was ready for pickup. The vehicle was dropped off there at 8:15 am and I had to call to see when it was ready seeing as no one bothered to call as they said would. Once I picked up my vehicle, I was given a bill and charged $89.04 for "body hardware". I am not sure what body hardware means, as no replacement piece or adjustment was made to the vehicle's problem. I am not very pleased with the service received.
