Review: We hired [redacted] in October 2013 to do maintenance in our yard to attempt to sell our house. We paid a total of $2100.00. He and his crew were to put wood chips across the front of our yard, trim trees and shrubs, put in some flowers, and clean up the yard. He did not put wood chips all across the yard and left about 1/4 of the yard with no wood chips at all. He left garbage all over. After some phone calls he returned to put a little more wood chips down and take the garbage he left. He promised to come back two times and spray Round Up for free but never did. We called him numerous times and would promise to do it but didn't return to spray for weeds. The wood chips were to stop the weeds so we would not have to do any maintenance. The wood chips he put down were very sparse so all the weeds came up so we still have to mow the yard. He refused to take away the Eucalyptus leaves. The sprinkler controller did not work and he said he would install a new one for us for $60. He then charged $100 telling me it was $60 for the new controller and $40 for his labor--we did not learn until today that he provided a used one. The flowers he put in died and other trees are dying because the sprinkler controller he installed was not working. I had a handyman come out today he said he thinks it works to a certain extent but cannot program the timer to work on certain days. He said it was not a new controller, it was a used one that JR Ramey sold to us on the pretense it was new. That explains why he would never give me the manual or the receipt for it. He said the wood chips would stop the weeds so we would not have to do any maintenance.Desired Settlement: Refund, or JR Ramey must provide a new controller, including the manual. And, to our satisfaction, eliminate permanently the weed problem as he promised.
