There is a discrepancy with their billing system. Have called and went in person and in fact wrote a letter to the dentist that they are overcharging me and no explanation has been given by their billing department. Except a new statement of account that I received yesterday showing that I owe $467.60 with no detail explanation and in fact they wrote that if this amount is not paid will send it to collection agency.Please note the following charges:According to Health Comp $975.00 for service done on 5-21-12 and $1275.00 done on 5-15-12. Insurance paid 572.00 for service done on 5/21/12 and my responsibility was $143.00; $591.40 paid for service done on 5-15-12 and my responsiblity was $333.60. Irrigation for 4 teeth insurance did not pay and so my responsiblity was $160.00; I had a previous balance of $94.00 that was not paid. Total amount due was $730.00. First payment was $253.00 paid on 5/15/12 through my flex spending account and then made 7 payments of $70.00ea per month. Total paid $490.00. I over paid $13.00. Checked with Ms [redacted] of HealthComp and she said that was correct. It seems that they are not understanding this. Kindly have this resolved as I do not owe $467.60. Would like to know how they come up with this amount. A complete detail will be helpful to understand and if there is a difference I will be glad to make payments. Thank you for your help in advance.
