Review: Bought car under false pretenses and within 5 days car is no longer operable. Indicated new transmission with 6 month warranty.

Purchase date 09/8/13 and on 9/13/2013 half shaft came out on freeway nearly wrecked. Had to have towed. 106.50 c and f towing.

[redacted] came to my house picked up car on 9/18/13 for 40.00 tow bill and said they fixed it no charge. Picked up car 9/25/2013 from [redacted] said fixed. Jessie said car is fixed it was a half shaft wrongly installed. On 10/18/2013 again almost wrecked on freeway [redacted] charged me to tow 75.00 to their shop. Now they say transmission is bad and for 600.00 can get me another one. I told them the car including their test miles after repairs we have only put 961 miles on car, and Jessie indicated new transmission with 6 month warranty. [redacted] at [redacted] indicated the 6 months is up as the car sat a long time. I asked for another road worthy car from lot or them to fix appropriately. They have refused and want us to pay for another transmission. Also have not received any documentation from DMV no registration, license plate ect. as all of this was included in price of car. They just want us to keep paying them to tow car around town and keep paying them to repair a supposedly road worthy car.Desired Settlement: I would like the 2500.00 I paid for the car back as well as 106.50 c and f towing dated 9-13-2013 40.00 [redacted] towing on 9/18/13 and 75.00 tow [redacted] on 10/18/13. I have repeatedly asked them to make this right as the car was sold with new transmission with 6 month warranty. No half shaft should come out if installed properly with proper transmission ever. This car has been unsafe to drive and nearly caused two accidents on major freeways. I only drive about 23 miles on freeways and that apparently is too much for this unsafe car. I am afraid to pay them anything else as this behavior keeps continuing.

When asked about another road worthy car to exchange for the answer was no. I believe 961 miles over the period of off on 11 days I actually had car to drive is bad business. I could have gotten a rental for 50.00 and drove that further than a 2500 car that was represented to me as a dependable work car. Please help resolve this matter. Thank You

[redacted] keeps giving me the run around saying he will fix car but each week I check with him and he babbles :oh yeah I'll have it done by Friday. Friday has not yet come. [redacted] needs to look at your complaint form and read the complaints name correctly. Thank You Would just like this resolved, And any help you can give would be much helpful.

I have recieved a letter indicating a shane gerstner has a complaint. im very sorry the vehicle I sold shane did not work out. but I am not liable for any of these things hes claiming I did. I sold the vehicle to him AS IS and have all necessary documents to prove the vehicle was sold as is. he put almost a thousand miles on vehicle.
