I heard about Kirby at a Home Show. I signed up for a free prize and was told a few days later that I had won. They said they would drop off the MP3 player and talk to me for 15 minutes. I was visited by a Kirby sales representatives yesterday and the experience was both terrible and frightening. After a 1.5 hour presentation (I thought we were incredibly patient), I declined to purchase the product and thanked him for his time. He refused to leave. He was aggressive, rude, and used several different tactics from, "I will get fired" to "you will regret this" to "I thought we were friends" to encourage me to buy. I had already explained I would be happy to purchase at later time, but had just invested in new flooring and the Kirby would have to wait. The way he continued to badger my husband and I - in front of our small children - and his staunch refusal to leave my home when we asked was scary. I will never purchase the product, which I did find great, because of the way he disrespected me, spoke about me to a "supervisor" on the phone, and then insulted my home as he left. I only agreed to the visit because I was promised the free gift, which he then refused to give me. The experience was awful and these types of sales representatives and their tactics taint the Kirby name. I will never buy their product and I warn you not to allow their sales representatives into your home.

Review: Ramon Heating was hired by the Seller of the home at [redacted], WI. They were to provide a Furnace tuen-up (general cleaning, verification of furnace operation and filter replacement. The service was billed for $80 and shown to be completed on 4/13/2016 per Invoice # 000826. On 5/3/2016, myself as the new homeowner had a company out to inspect the ducts to determine if they needed cleaning. We opened the furnace and found a furnace filter that had significant amounts of black and grey dust almost 1/4" thick and a plastic filter screen covered in black grime. I reached out to the sellers Real Estate Agent, My Real Estate Agent and left a Voice mail at Ramon Heating. I then sent pictures of what was found (filters were removed and not placed back into Furnace). Ramon Heating called back the Sellers Agent and claimed service was performed and that maybe I needed additional services to clean the ducts. I explained the condition we found the furnace and filter on 5/3/16 and provided pictures. At this point they are refusing to come back out and service the Furnace. My opinion is that no actual service was performed or that it was not done completely. I have been told they will provide new filters (ie. they will drop them off) but people need to be aware not to trust the workmanship and verify all activites performed by this company. I should also mention I had a complete Home Inspection done on 3/25/16 and this filter was noted on that report and there was zero change of the situation on 5/3/16 although they claim to have performed the tune up on 4/16/2016.Desired Settlement: It would have been my expectation that they would have called and setup a time to review the situation and correct the issue. However, they have refused to contact directly and have informed me thru the agent that they will drop off filters. This company is ignoring that the issue occurred and have not even investigated the employee who claims to have performed the task to see where the disconnect happened. Very poor customer service and cannot be trusted without complete verification of all tasks needed.
