Nonetheless, when I arrived at his office there was a score of people there, none of which were customers. I suspect, but have no evidence, that they are the business owners of other automotive repair shops. The owner of R&D Automotive continued to make excuses for his actions and also lied while giving me my refund; I did not want to argue with him so I took the refund and left. However, now I am worried to have my car repaired by any of the local mechanics; they have my license plate and wll know to upcharge or tamper with my car. The owner of R&D Automotive drove off in my car, which is not necessary to the repair. Ran a quick test and reset the computer in the car; resetting the computer made it so I could not have the car worked on till the check engine light came back on. After the computer test on my car, the mechanic should have used a multimeter to test the sensor and wiring (because the code for the test read p401, high). If the sensor and wiring ran at appropriate electrical levels, then the mechanic would know the Electronic Gas Regulator is jammed. The code P401, High refers to the Electronic Gas Regulator. The EGR is under the hood; the mechanic had no business touching my wheels, or resetting the car computer. The hand prints on my wheels are part of the evidence the mechanic at R&D automotive left for any other mechanic I might take my car to, just like having all the owners at the office when I went to go pick up my refund.
I have to consider the complaint solved, because I do not know what else I can do. I have no evidence to this new complaint, mentioning this new problem only makes me look paranoid. Regards,
