Review: My 2009 jeep which has already had its original sunroof replaced ..is leaking again, not to mention the water damage which has decreased the value of my truck. I have brought it to the Ramsey NJ dealership where the service and quite honestly the communication has been unacceptable.. . . I have been advised to take my jeep to another dealership which really says something about Jeeps quality and their concern for customer service. I have been flat out ignored by my repeated attempts to speak the service manager of Ramsey jeep as well as lied to about the issue being fixed and hoping I pick up my jeep and "go away.'Desired Settlement: I have no faith in the issue being fixed and I have been more than patient with trying to get this resolved .I have filed complaints with jeep and I dont know what else I can do. Under the lemon law I would like a refund and or some type of market value compensation for the truck .

Response:

Customer purchased vehicle in 2009, returned to our service department for the first time on 3-15-12 with 49,389 and a sunroof was ordered and installed on 3-19-12. The vehicle did not return to the service department until 3-18-13, 1 year later, the vehicle was in an accident. At the time, the vehicle had 66,014 miles. There was no sunroof service requested. The next service was on 5-1-13 with 69,746 miles, no sunroof service. The vehicle returned on 6-12-14 with 91,817, stating the sunroof leaked. The drain hose was leaking and the drain was cleared. The vehicle returned again on 6-23-14 with 92,496 miles stating the sunroof leaked badly. The problem could not be duplicated either by a hose or the car wash.As for the lemon law, to qualify for lemon law, the vehicle must be under 2 years or 24,000 miles. You can feel free to contact the Lemon Law unit at ###-###-####

Review: I purchased a vehicle from this dealership on 3-18-15 and provided the requested documents from my insurance company. I picked up the vehicle on 3-20-15 and they said they had everything they needed. I paid them $299 in fees to process my paperwork (title registration, tags) and they assured me it would not be a problem to handle it even though it was out of state. They also said not to worry-it would not be a problem to get the plates on time (before the tags expired). They issued me a 20-day non-renewable out-of-state temporary tag. Long story short, they left me with a vehicle that I could not drive for a full week. NINE DAYS after receiving the paperwork (and seven days after issuing the tag) they must have looked at it for the first time and said they needed the insurance binder in my name. My insurance company sent the corrected paperwork within a few hours (the same day). That left 13 days on the tag which would still have been plenty of time to send the docs in. I spoke with three managers there (Mike, Scot and Mark) who insist they do not return doc fees and that this was my fault or my insurance companies fault. So, I ask them this...had the paperwork had my name, what was the delay? A few hours? One day at the most? Why did it take 29 days to get the plates from the time they received the paperwork? If they had the new docs the same day they noticed the name discrepancy the delay was only hours...not a week. They did not perform the service in a timely manner (as they assured me they would) and should not be paid for these services. I could have taken the documents to NM and done it in time. They did not give me an option to have the services removed as they are pre-printed on the contract.Desired Settlement: I would like my documentation fee refunded and the $5.97 in taxes refunded. Additionally, if they try to collect on the resolved credit card dispute they need to refund that money, also.

Review: My husband, [redacted] went to Ramsey Chrysler Jeep Dodge to trade in his leased Infiniti G37 for a Jeep Grand Cherokee. He left the same day with his new Grand Cherokee, leaving behind his [redacted] which had a remaining 11 payments left on the lease with Ramsey Infiniti. Jeep explained because both Jeep and Infiniti are part of the Ramsey Auto Club they would be purchasing the car from them and he would therefore have NO Responsibility as far as over mileage, excessive wear and tear, or any other hassles of turning in a lease. THREE WEEKS later [redacted], from the dealership called to say that the numbers THE DEALER provided in our contract were inaccurate and WE need to come up with an additional $7000 to pay off the lease on the Infiniti that was left with Jeep. We continued to be harassed by phone calls from [redacted] for the next week or so. We have at this point STILL not received any response from Ramsey Chrysler Jeep OR their legal department (it has been over 3 weeks since the letter was received by the intended parties!!). In the meantime our credit report has begun to suffer because the Infiniti RAMSEY JEEP AGREED TO PAY OFF is over 60 days PAST DUE on payments.

I am appalled at the lack of service, lack of concern and complete disregard for their customers that this dealership (Especially Management) has shown!!!Desired Settlement: Ramsey Chrysler Jeep Dodge should settle the remaining Payments on the Infiniti G37 as agreed upon by both parties at the time of purchase and delivery of vehicle.

Review: I purchased a 2014 Grand Jeep Cherokee on Sept 2, 2013. I was told that they could register the car in Florida since that is now my legal address. I was given a temporary license good for 20 days, it now expires tomorrow and I don't have legal plates yet.

I was told by [redacted] and [redacted]l [redacted] that I needed to fax to Ramsey a copy of my Florida driver license and a copy of my Florida insurance before they could have my vehicle registered, these documents were faxed to them Sept. 9, 2013. Eight days later I got a call from [redacted] asking for the documents, I explained they were sent on Sept 9th, but I refaxed them. [redacted] told me he would call Thursday evening (9/19/13) to bring me up to date - he never called.

When I call [redacted] seems to always be off, even though the operator told me he would be in at noon. About 1:30 (9/20/13) I asked to speak to [redacted]l [redacted] and was told he was at lunch. I told the person answering the phone that if I didn't hear from by 3:00 I was going to file a complaint.

The finance papers were processed fast enough, I already have heard from the bank.Desired Settlement: Send me my agreed upon license plates, they charged me for Florida sales tax and registration fees and now I have a $43,000.00 car that I can't drive.

Review: PURCHASED A 2015 NEW [redacted] CHEROKEE IN EARLY JUNE. ITS BEEN IN SHOP 4 TIMES OVER 2 MONTHS. FIRST EPISODE WAS NOISE AND CAMERA NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY. SECOND TIME CAR JUST SHUT OFF WHILE DRIVING AT LEAST 10 TIMES ON MAIN HIGHWAYS AND BRIDGES. HAD TO BE TOWED FROM DRIVEWAY. PROBLEM NEEDED WHOLE NEW TRANSMISSION. PICK UP CAR A WEEK LATER AND BROKE DOWN AGAIN IN DRIVEWAY LEAKING BRAKE FLUID. THEY STILL HAVE THE CAR. I PAID CASH FOR THE CAR. I HAVE NUMEROUS CALLS IN TO CUSTOMER CARE CASE WORKERS AND NEVER RETURN CALL. I HAVE TO GET A LAWYER INVOLVED. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE. EVEN WORKERS SAY THEY WOULDNT LET THEIR FAMILY DRIVE THIS CAR. WE SHOULD FEEL SAFE IN A BRAND NEW CAR AND NOT WORRY ABOUT BREAKING DOWN ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY OR BRIDGE. TERRIBLE DEALERSHIP AND NO ONE CARES. THEY TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR SELLING A LEMON CAR. THEY REPRESENT THE CAR. THEY SHOULD BE ASHAMED . DISGUSTED WITH PEOPLE THESE DAYS.....Desired Settlement: COMPLETE REFUND

Review: On 9/30/2015 I purchased a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited as a lease vehicle-Turned in Acura 2011 TSX. My lease ended with Honda Financial 9/21/2015 but was granted a 10 day extension as per Acura (letter will be attached). Advised the dealer on 9/30/2015 the day of purchase both [redacted] (acting manager at the time) and [redacted] that the vehicle was due back 10/1/2015. [redacted] advised he would return the car, [redacted] checked to make sure he could return the vehicle to the Acura Ramsey and [redacted] assured me the car would be returned on the due date of October 1, 2015 which was directly across the street from Ramsey Jeep. On or about October 15th, 2015 I received a call from Honda Financial stating the vehicle has not been received and states that I owed 521.00, which is an additional months payment including taxes. I called Ramsey Jeep and questioned when and if my car was returned they stated it was returned October 5th 2015 which is well after the agreed date. I spoke with [redacted] (last name unknown) and explained this was not the agreement and also notified him I had Honda Financial on the line. [redacted] (with Ramsey Jeep) later stated he would look into it, I asked for a return receipt showing when my car was returned and he stated he would call me back with that information. After receiving no call back I then consulted with an with regards to my liability. After receiving no return call from Jeep I called back and spoke with Scott Snow who is the General Manager of Ramsey Jeep explained the situation and he stated he would look into it, again asking for a copy of the return receipt of my car which has not been received to date. I received another call from Honda Financial stating my car still had not been received on or about October 23rd 2015 and immediately called my sales rep [redacted] requested a lease return receipt which has not been received to date.Desired Settlement: I would like for the dealership to provide me with the return receipt that I have requested 4 times already and pay Acura Financial the balance on he account which is due to their negligence before my credit is negatively impacted.

Review: Approximately 6 months after purchasing the vehicle, I noticed an issue with water leaking from the roof. I took the vehicle back to the dealer for repair. I was told they made a repair that they claimed would fix the issue. About 2 weeks later, there was still the very same water leaking issue. I have since brought back my Grand Cherokee to the dealer on December 26,2014. It is now 37 days later. my Jeep is still there. After several phone calls and discussions with numerous staff (i.e. service advisor, service manager, and whoever is above them), the vehicle is still not completely repaired. it has been evident that a thorough check of the vehicle was not done until after the Jeep was in their possession for at least a week or two. Then I was told that waiting for parts was the issue. Finally, after being told that I could pick up my vehicle yesterday, I have now been told that a brand new part is not functioning properly and it will be several more days before completion. To say I am frustrated is an understatement. I am currently making payments on a vehicle that isn't even in my possession. This isn't acceptable. especially on a brand new car.Desired Settlement: At this point, I am questioning the ability to repair my brand new Jeep at all. The service has clearly been incompetent. I would ultimately like a replacement of my new car. At the very least, compensation should be given to me for the excessive time without my new Grand Cherokee that I paid and am still paying a lot of hard earned money for.

Review: I purchased a JEEP Wrangler Sahara from this dealership after seeing their advertisement for the vehicle that I purchased from them. It was advertised with 2 tops. The hard top which was mounted on the vehicle and the soft top which only part of it was inside the vehicle when I picked it up. The other parts were promised although never delivered as promised. I have made numerous calls without any call backs. When the salesman actually did answer, he said he would look into it but never did anything about it. The vehicle was also supposed to have a spare key which was also promised, and again still don't have a spare key.Desired Settlement: I would just like the parts for the spare convertible top and spare key like promised and advertised.

poor service with attitude. rarely can get a loaner car. lied about initial mileage about car. corp confirmed that they are trouble. avoid them....I wish I had
