Review: HM Team Trade is a French company with a business branch in Lisbon, Portugal.On October 2012, our Lisbon branch ordered to RAMTRADE, 1x40 Reefer of CLQs (Frozen Chicken Leg quarters).According to the payment terms required by RAMTRADE World Wide, HM Team Trade made two advanced payments, as follows:1st Advanced payment: USD 3,809.00 on 2012/10/**2nd Advanced payment: USD 7,618.00 on 2012/11/**The total amount that was paid was USD 11,427.00 Then, we kept waiting for the supply of the goods, which unfortunately never happened. Despite our permanent and daily contact with RAMTRADE, by phone and by mail, they failed continuously the dates of delivery of the goods. In this scenario, our final customer canceled the order that had placed to us and when this happened we canceled our order to RAMTRADE ( 2012/12/**).Since this last event, we asked for the return of the advanced payment made. Regrettably, we neither received the devolution of the advanced payment, nor a formal position of RAMTRADE saying that it was its intention to proceed to the payment.After months of silence from RAMTRADE to our requests, we decided to introduce this subject to the Commercial Affairs Dpt. of USA Embassy in Portugal.We provided this Dpt. with the relevant information (dates and emails changed about this business) and we asked for its intervention in order to get an ethical and serious answer from RAMTRADE. For us, that answer could only be the devolution of the advanced amount made by us to RAMTRADE. With the intervention of the Commercial Affairs Dpt., RAMTRADE finally answered to our demanding emails, after months ignoring our contacts. This time, RAMTRADE suggested HM Team Trade to place a new and distinct order, in anything related to the 1st order, and then the previous advanced amount would be used to cover the payment of this new order.As a proof of good faith and expecting that this suggestion would be the solution for the problem, HM Team Trade accepted the proposal and we confirmed the new order to RAMTRADE on 2013/03/**.Unfortunately, all our expectations vanished. RAMTRADE, once more, didnt proceed to the shipment of the goods, despite our continuous requests to solve the situation. In fact, RAMTRADE stopped replying to our emails. On 2013/05/**, after direct contact between the Commercial Affairs Dpt. and RAMTRADE, HM Team Trade was informed by Commercial Affairs Dpt. that RAMTRADE had decided to return to us the initial advanced due amount (USD 11,427.00).However, almost one month after this communication, RAMTRADE is still in debt to us, since it hasnt done the devolution of the due amount and it hasnt been answering to our emails. Given this situation, the Commercial Affairs Dpt. of the USA Embassy in Lisbon, Portugal, suggested to us the presentation of a claim against RAMTRADE, through Revdex.com (Revdex.com) mechanisms.Please note that the above explanation is a brief resume of the entire situation and we are certainly available to supply your services with all the additional necessary information.
