We have used Ranch Events for a few parties over the last several years & we have ALWAYS been very happy with their service They can take care of all linens, and they do an amazing job with that too You don't just get linens in the colors you choose, you get them done in a way that adds so much glamour and decor to the eventThey staff is always friendly We plan to use them again and again in the future and know we are in good, professional and friendly hands!

Over promise and under deliver is accurate, as others have mentionedAt first everything was greatOur coordinator assured us over and over again that they have 20+ years experience and there was nothing to worry about
When we voiced our concerns to the GM the day after the event all we received were condescending questions as to why were complaining So I feel people should be warnedWe were burned by this company and think NO ONE deserves to go through what we went through :/ She yelled, cursed at me and my mother over the phone in a room full of people
The following is just a few things I think people should know before deciding on a venue; wedding or other
-The room was hot, no airflow! My bridesmaids asked the floor manager to turn the air on or open the doorsAfter an hour of no change, I left the dance floor to ask againI don't understand how this business is allowed to operate without air control /regulations Air finally turned on around 9pm
-My mother had to tip the floor manager to have them hustleWhy would you tip after we paid thousands in advance for the service tip alone? My mothers words: "dinner was to be served at 7pmAt 7:30pm I asked since dinner is running late to please being out more appetizersAt 7:45pm there was no food so I tipped him to get moving." Dinner was served at 8pm1hr late
(Our agreement was that appetizers were to served throughout the night, not just cocktail hourWhich we were told was not an issue)
-The family style menu we paid for was not deliveredMost tables did not have the full meal servedSome didn't get the salmon, some didn't certain appetizers
The amount of experience this company claims to have clearly doesn't showAnd the lack of respect for clients, not just as customers but simply as people, is disgusting

Please accept our sincerest apologies for letting this issue go unnoticed for so long. Only recently were we informed by...

Revdex.com of your complaint listed below. We strive to provide only the most excellent service, and when any service less than perfect is brought to our attention, it is our absolute highest priority to resolve the matter. We are greatly sympathetic for some of the challenges you faced at your event, so please review our notes within the body of your Revdex.com complaint, and our settlement offer below.

Nature of Complaint:
Service Issues - An improper or inferior service
My husband and I rented the room owned by Ranch Events for our wedding in August, and therefore also had to use Ranch for our catering. We were told upon our first meeting with Ranch Events that the room was going to be remodeled very soon. Our wedding was over a year away at this point. By the time our wedding date arrived, the room had not been remodeled, and no noticeable improvements had been made. We were told there was AC, and there was not. Our cupcake frosting started to melt and our guests were very hot.
([1] At the time of your booking, yes we did mention that the room was being remodeled. We did complete most of the remodeling work by the time of your event. However, we are sorry it did not meet your expatiations. We are willing to offer a $200 refund on the room rental. )

The flowers outside the room were dead, and we had to request they be replaced. We were told we would not be charged for the "sails" on the outdoor patio if another couple used them and they remained up, which they were, and we were still charged for them. ( [2]The added charge for the white sails was likely an accounting mistake. We are willing to offer a full $250 refund on the sails. )

We were told the room would be thoroughly cleaned before set up of our wedding day, it was not. My mother-in-law, mother, aunt, and wonderful friends had to clean the room themselves the morning of the wedding. ( We apologize that the cleaning job was not adequate to your standards, though we can confirm that a basic sweep and sanitize job was done by one of our staff members prior to your event. Typically we would offer compensation for the cleaning you and yours had taken upon yourselves, but according to our records, our staff had to remove excess tulle and staples from all posts in the room after your event and fill/spackle the holes that the staples had left in the walls. This is not typical post-event cleaning. While we would otherwise charge clients for the damage to the posts, we are willing to waive that charge in exchange for no refund on the cleaning that you and yours had taken upon yourselves. We believe that this is a fair trade. )

We were told Ranch would provide a screen for our projector, which they then refused to do the day of and our amazing DJ went out and bought it out of his own pocket so that we could display a slideshow during dinner. ( We did not charge for a projector, nor did your event summary list anything about supplying a projector.

We paid for food for 190 people, less people showed, by at least 20, and the food ran out. ([3] We agree that the lack of food is inexcusable. Our chef’s records do show that sufficient quantity was supplied at your event, However, in good faith we are willing to offer you $275 refund on the buffet. )

[redacted], our coordinator, was very difficult to get a hold of and seemed disengaged whenever we spoke to her once the contract was signed, though she was a great saleswoman beforehand. The staff assigned to setting up the tables the day of were supposed to place the favors at each place setting and completely forgot to do so, and we were left with 190 unused favors. ( Your event summary did not list anything about our staff setting out party favors, which explains why our staff was unaware of this request. )
Desired Settlement:
Refund
My husband and I want a refund for the terrible experience we paid for. We want a partial refund on the food since we paid for more people than showed up and the food still ran out. We want a refund for the cleaning our own party had to perform because Ranch did not, for the non-existent AC we were told existed, for the sails that remained up from the previous event, for the screen our DJ bought (so that we may reimburse him) and for the wedding favors that never got placed at the table settings, as the staff at Ranch were entrusted to do.
Below is listed our suggestion of a fair refund settlement:
Itemized
Amount
Refund on the room rental.
$ 200
Refund on the Sails
$ 250
Refund on the buffet
$ 275
Total Refund :
$ 725

This brings our suggested refund settlement to a $725.00 . Again, please accept our sincerest apologies for less than perfect service. We hope that this settlement will redeem any flaws in your memory of your special day.

Sincerely,

Kind regards,
