Mr*** performed poorly as a project manager with few items completed 100% right the first timeThe basement/lower level still has numerous items on a punch listAnd, Mr*** stopped working on any of the project in early August except for sending a couple of subs to the location a day here and thereThe subs often lacked the materials he was t

Paid deposit the first week of august for a small job Was supposed to be completed by August 25th The windows didn't arrive until the 25th and were installed then I paid another 90% of the contract to have the trim and finish out done It has now been three weeks since the supposed completion date and nothing has changed and I want my money back for work that has not been completed The owner *** keeps hanging up on me

I acknowledged the mistake with the glass tile and it has been resolved and we have moved on with this projectSeveral workers, including myself, have been yelled at, degraded, cussed at, and threatened by the homeowners wife; therefore it is difficult to keep a crew on a job with that kind of atmosphereThe homeowners are wanting perfect***, they point out the smallest flaws (example: a piece of tile 1/of an inch off)This whole complaint seems outrageous because on Saturday, the homeowners husband was extremely nice and very helpful and very understanding; the wife was not at home during this timeWhen the wife is home and the husband isn't, she is very aggressive; if the husband is home, she doesn't speak or is not thereWe are trying our best to get this job doneThe homeowners are still changing their minds on certain things, therefore causing more delays (example: wanting the most expensive glass for a shower, therefore causing the project to possibly be finished on 12/if the glass comes in with no problems)

We have been trying our best to please these customersHowever, it is very difficult to keep guys on a job when my guys are cussed out, browbeat, and ridiculedYes, we had a tile setter that had never installed glass tile and did not ask for help; we remedied the issue out of our pocketWe were
unaware of any health problems as there was nothing said about thatThe customer gave us their paint colors on Thursday and we picked up the paint on FridayThe job is 3/of the way doneThere have been several change orders due to them not being able make up their mindsWe have tried to please this customer, time and time again to no avail, even after we are threatened by them via voicemailPhone calls are returned, however if they don't get the answer they want they call multiple people within the company to try to get what they wantThey want absolute perfect*** and have told us they can lay the tile better, so then why hire a contractor to do it? We would not do work for them again because nobody deserves to be treated the way they have treated us

Response to [redacted]' Complaint: On the downstairs remodel job, there were complications when removing the wainscoat paneling from walls.  The sheetrock was covered with black mold and was completely rotten.  The studs and bottom plates were rotten as well, and had to be replaced. ...

Things that can't be seen cause serious problems.  The [redacted]' were notified and pictures were sent to them.  Due to replacing the bottom of the studs, adding studs, replacing the bottom plates, along with new insulation after removing the sheetrock from walls, the ceiling sheetrock fell in.  Unfortunately there were a lot of problems in the downstairs.  Along with the downstairs, Anne had picked some backsplash tile; after I installed it for her, she didn't like it and wanted to get some new backsplash tile.  After having to remove the backsplash tile and the sheetrock that was behind the tile in kitchen and bathroom areas, after replacing sheetrock and backsplash tile along with grouting the tile the [redacted]' never paid for this as it was extra work not on the contract. As far as the upstairs project, the [redacted]' went through two architects, having things redrawn and redrawn to try and get the price lowered on the remodel and addition.  It is hard to lower a budget when taste is one thing and budget is another.  It took them a very long time to make up their minds on things.  It took almost 2 months to make up their minds on the siding for the house.  As far as the architects, there were a lot of things missed on the plans. The [redacted]' wanted a catwalk from the house to the garage with a covered walkway.  Then they changed their minds again because it blocked them from getting to the backyard.  The garage was built according to the drawings, except for the pitch because if it was built on 3/12 pitch they wouldn't have room for any storage.  Due to the architects not stating that there needed to be 1/2" steel in the header of the garage, it was not done. A lot of the delays were due to the [redacted]' not making up their minds on items or always changing their minds on things. The cabinets are done in stages.  I was in the process of starting the doors and drawers when she stopped the project. The bank was another problem.  Their bank wanted me to fund the project and they would pay after things were complete.  We had to fight with the bank to get paid in advance to get materials so we could perform the work.  Draws had to be sent to the [redacted]' first for their approval, which would then be put into her spreadsheet and sent to the bank directly from her.  In order to get paid, and in a timely manner, I had to call the bank several times and had to speak to a higher up before we were paid according to our invoices.  We are a construction company, not a lending institution,. Sincerely, [redacted]
