This store categorically rejects the accusations of this individuals and considers them offensive to the various staff members to which they are directed and the criticisms of the operations of this company1.? ? ? ? ? No staff member has been anything but professional with this client.? Everyone who has communicated with her has encountered an adversarial and disrespectful individual 2.? ? ? ? ? There were not several items that were missing from recent deliveries.? The only item in question was a glass top which the client has initially stated that she would pick up at the store.? A special delivery was made by the warehouse foreman to placate this client3.? ? ? ? ? As invoices were delivered, the balance was charged on the instruction of the client.? There are no errors concerning either deposit or balance charges4.? ? ? ? ? Her order for two custom upholstered chairs are in production and cannot be cancelled5.? ? ? ? ? There was never a double charge for delivery.? If fact, to accommodate her, the store is making multiple deliveries of the tickets when only one delivery charge was paid for by the customer6.? ? ? ? ? All notations that the customer requested exist in an electronic format on her various invoices7.? ? ? ? ? The store has held furniture past the time that payment was due (days after receipt) without requesting a storage fee which is contained in each of the contracts she signed8.? ? ? ? ? Customer claimed a table base that she had moved between this store, a storage facility, and then to her permanent residence had been damaged by us.? The warehouse foreman did a courtesy repair.? This was a claimIn conclusion, the store’s desire to attempt accommodation with the individual is at an end.? Her remaining two chairs will be delivered on arrival and that will conclude our business dealings with [redacted] .? *** *** [To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, the consumer must give a reason why they are rejecting the responseIf the consumer does not provide a reason the complaint will be closed Answered] To Whom It May Concern: Response to response from business: Ethan Allen Albuquerque, NM complaint #*** September 26, The tone of MrS***' letter speaks volumes and is at the heart of my concerns of Ethan Allen Corporation, AlbuquerqueI find it unproductive for me to address the dismissive, disrespectful tone of the letterHowever, I must clarify that I requested one delivery and have paid for one deliveryA missing item due to Ethan Allen error, was delivered separately when I noticed that the item (a glass table top) was not included in my deliveryThis accusation by Mr S*** is an example of concerns that I've had with regard to lack of communication among staff in completing my orders I consider the tone of the response to be intimidating and a form of harassment to me personally when I was only seeking fair dealing as a customer who should have received respectful priority from the Ethan Allen store in Albuquerque with my ordersI stand by my original complaintI made the decision on the day of delivery of my items that I would not deal with the Albuquerque store againI have worked with other design furniture companies and have received professional, courteous treatment and service by them (customer service, orders, billing, delivery)My plan is to work with those companies who lead by example with customer service being the highest priorityNote: Delivery was on Wednesday September The glass table top had a chip at delivery and I pointed it out to the delivery persons ( including the warehouse foreman)I asked for a replacementIn a follow up call to Sydney, I was assured that glass table top would be replacedThe warehouse foreman came out on Friday the 23, and took pictures of the glass for replacement purposesI noticed and appreciate receiving clarification on billing process, further communication and assurance about the glass top, and hasty response to the matterThis latest action is an example of the type of customer service that I expected in my earlier dealings with Ethan Allen AlbuquerqueI appreciate Sydney's efforts on my behalf and it is an example of what I consider good customer relations and fair dealing practice with a customer who trades at Ethan AllenI hope that the tone set by Sydney, between Wednesday and Friday is an indication that final transactions (I have two chairs on order that could not be cancelled) will be respectful and professional in natureThank you for giving me the opportunity to respond to MrS***Sincerely, Mrs*** *** *** *** *** ** *** ** *** *** Cc: Ethan Allen Corporation Lake Ave Ext Danbury CT 06811
